A good quality watch at a great price.
Just bought a pilots watch to replace a far more expensive watch that failed. I've nothing but praise for Steel dive & I own several of them. Powerd by a Seiko NH35 automatic movement what's not to like, I'm delighted with my new purchase.

Steeldive.com (not steeldives.com) has a bad actor using a web address steeldives.com (note the "s" on the end) - I mistakenly purchased my watch from steeldives.com - it was $ 100 moe than the Steeldive price and ended up breaking. Steeldives.com refuses to even respond to me annd Steeldive will not assist in getting the bad actor to compensate me - I have replied to correspondence with Steeldives and still wait a reply - "Thank you for the reply and offer,
I confirm that I still have the button and spring, but glueing it on is not an option as I am more concerned with the quality of the watch. If I were to glue the botton on it would interfere with the spring action.
Is this something you have seen before? If this is the only time you have seen it I would prefer to get a replacement model.

My watch arrived with the crown stuck…
My watch arrived with the crown stuck tight so I can't set the time. I tried for weeks to contact Steeldive and was finally told to return it at my cost with no RMA. After purchasing 7 or more watches no one at the company seemed to care. I still have the watch on my desk and have been unable to wear it.

So far so good
So far so good! Wear the watch every day. Did 10 days of diving with it, about 30 dives, 45hrs at depth. I'm careful the watch crown is tight.

Awful Communication
According to their tracking information, the product shipped. After 3 weeks, no additional tracking information was provided. They're communication was extremely poor and they did not answer me to issue a refund. I had to take the charge up with my credit card company. After 2 and 1/2 months, it is still unresolved.

Bracelet did not match the photograph
Bracelet did not match the photograph. It had changed. The first link connecting to the end link is not the same as it used to be on the SD 1993 and the SD 1953 I tried two bracelets, and they are both incorrect. I wanted the original bracelet.

However, minor design differences can occur between production batches over the years, especially when compared to older watches.
