Steel and Sap build wooden gates to order in our own workshop. Garden gates, picket gates and driveway gates in featheredge, tongue and groove, cottage and swan neck, made to your measurements rather than to a handful of standard sizes. Widths from 600mm in 50mm steps, heights from 900mm to 1800mm, and driveway pairs up to 3600mm across. If your opening falls outside that, we build bespoke. Every gate is framed, ledged and braced from pressure-treated softwood, supplied untreated so you can paint or stain to match your fencing. Made to order in five working days, with free delivery on a dedicated vehicle to mainland UK.

Excellent service from steelandsap.com.
Excellent service from steelandsap.com.
We bought driveway swan neck gates after being let down by another company.
Order placed on a Thursday and 8 days later the gates arrived.
Very happy with the quality of the gates which were made to measure to fit the gap between the gate posts... They are a perfect fit.
I would highley recommend steelandsap.com.

Thank you, Steve! We're really glad we could step in after you'd been let down elsewhere, and that your swan neck driveway gates arrived quickly and fit perfectly between your posts. Getting made-to-measure right is what we care about most, so this is great to hear. Thanks for the recommendation, and enjoy your new gates. The Steel and Sap team

Thanks Max, really appreciate the review. Made-to-measure is what our workshop is set up for, so if the size isn't standard it's no trouble at all. Enjoy the gate.

Wooden Garden Gate
The gate I bought was the best. Alive one I could find on Google. I was worried it might not match the description but it turned up in time and was perfect. Highly recommend…
