Statue Cruises Arvostelua 6

These people left us in line at Ellis Island for hours in the scorching heat. Every ferry coming from the Statue of Liberty would stop by and pick up a handful of people because people simple wouldn't disembark. As they let maybe 20-30 people board, hundreds of people, including infants and elderly, sat in 90 degree heat, standing within inches of each other, waiting to get back to the city. Then an completely empty boat passed us by to pick up literally 7 people going to New Jersey. It was a painful scene. These folks are horrific planners and put passengers at risk. They are lucky someone didn't suffer from heat stroke. They crowd people in wide lines with no sense of order so it's a free for all. It completely ruined what should have been an amazing day and wasted hours of our time. I told a lead staffer about my concerns. He mocked me openly. Does the city know they do this? Do they deserve exclusive rights to these routes? I think not.

I've been trying for weeks to get a refund on my tickets, absolutely no response. They took the money twice on my online booking. Awful people. Something like this it's not possible. You cannot do this . There are laws against this . Be sure I will never recomand you.

Staff awful just pile 1000s people on to one boat . But when you get to the Statue of Liberty it was amazing. We got the crown tickets which is well worth it as you get to go up to the top of the statue and views are amazing. Rangers at statue of liberty so friendly and treat each visitor so well. Just shame let down a bit buy horrible cruise ship experience to get there and back.

I've been trying for months to get a refund on my tickets, absolutely no response and no refund. Is this that world famous customer service the US are so proud of? Even if I ever eventually do go to NYC, I certainly won't be visiting the Statue of Liberty. It should be renamed, Taking a Liberty!

Terrible organisation after you collect tickets from the main ticket centre. The staff shout there are no single file queueing ( took us over 2hrs to get through in outdoor freezing conditions) therefore it was a free for all until everyone bottle necks into one set of doors to be herded through “airport security” which must be the most unfriendly customer service . I have experienced in many years. I work in customer service & this most definitely is the epitomy. they require further training to ensure the experience is an enjoyable one. At one point my friend was shouted at for setting off the metal detector for having metal in her bra! Once through security there were no queues for boarding the boats. Therefore the “security” staff being the main problem. To be honest had we known the time factor & organisation standards we would have simple taken the Staten Island ferry past the Statue & back at a fraction of the cost & saved freezing ourselves in the biting wind outside.
