Purchased a Hanman phone case ($49.99) and screen protector ($69.99) from Star Phones at Southland Moorabbin (VIC). Prices were not displayed on the items. I relied on being told the screen protector was “normally $89” and that I was receiving a $20 discount.

After returning home and comparing prices, I found the identical Hanman case widely available at significantly lower prices online and in other stores. Comparable (and in some cases branded) screen protectors were also retailing for substantially less. I returned to the store the following day to request a refund and was told to contact head office. I did so in writing (twice) and received no response. When I phoned to follow up, I was told they could charge whatever they liked.

Sharing this so others can make an informed decision. I strongly urge that you CHECK COMPARATIVE PRICING before purchasing from this business.

Ordered a replacement shell for an old flagship Windows Phone - was relieved to find someone selling the part!
When got delivery info it became apparent they were somehow sending it to the wrong address - I changed the delivery to a pick up point (Argos) and was told it would be there Monday. That evening (Saturday) I checked tracking - it had already been delivered to the wrong address. I went their and luckily was able to get my parcel.
The part turned out to be made of flimsy plastic (not original polycarbonate) - kind of expected that but it was also warped and couldn't be fitted to phone.
I fille din and sent 2 return forms but heard nothing, so asked in the online chat feature - after 1 hour of waiting while they "checked the returns department" I gave up.
Atrocious customer service.

My old Torrential Scottish Rain damaged iPhone 11 was not only brought back to life but to As New condition.Fixed within the hour.Repair cost was affordable too.Jusef you da man..cheers

SCAM - won't refund for incorrect items. I was sold two ipad keyboard covers which were for the wrong models, even though I had the covers in the store with me.

After returning them and being promised a refund I have called and emailed countless times. They still have my money, calls just get fobbed off by the girl who answers the "Head Office" phone and pretends to be different people but can't disguise her bogan voice.

This review is for Star Phones in Canberra Central, ACT. These people are peddling faulty and sub standard products. I bought 2 phone converters to allow me to use my existing earplugs, and neither of them worked. I was right there at the shop, and the shop person tried on their phone - not working. Tried another two - all faulty. They would not provide a refund on my card. I have to email with the receipt and my bank act details. Chances of a refund ? Disgusting they are able to operate a store in Australia with this behaviour.

I was helped today by Rashmi, in Canberra. She immediately identified that my screen wasn't cracked, indeed it was only the screen protector that had broken when dropped face down on a hard surface. She repaired in it 5mins, perfectly, for a fraction of the price I had just been quoted elsewhere, upstairs at competing outlet. They looked at it, quoted +260$'s, to replace the screen, told they were the cheapest. Not honest essentially.

Fantastic! Polite service, they correctly identified the problem with my iPad, took it and repaired it in the same evening. They told me when it would be ready (in a couple of hours) but said they'd call if it was ready sooner... which it was.

I'd definitely recommend. I went back, and my iPad was as good as new!

I had my order #95677 delivered however there was minor fault, the new screen had a horizontal line and the bezel was in non matching colour which is not an issue to me. I've emailed them to ask if tey can exchage for a working one, but they simply not interested in replying

I took my phone in for a new battery, came away with a bricked phone. They refuse to refund moneys paid and directed me to an email address for their accounts dept, I have to pursue the matter with them ..no one ever replies to emails, no one answers the phone, no one returns messages

This company is a scam...be warned

Well i ordered a sim card tray for my phone and they managed to deliver it within two days which is not bad and the item fits perfectly and is genuine so i recommande this store

I ordered a Samsung screen which turned out to be incorrect. I placed a further order and this arrived promptly, However, I sent 2 requests to return the original order and both were completely ignored. We shall not be ordering from Star Phones again.

Absoloutely terrible company!!!!

Ordered camera lens replacements for my iphone 12 pro , but when they arrived they were not as described, as they say that they are oem , and should be tinted blue like how apple does them , however they were clear glass. If i wanted clear cheap ones, i would have got them off of ebay for 50p !!!!

To add to this, their online chat person , called "Sophie" , was extremely rude and only responded when i said i would write a bad review.

Do not buy from this company unless you want cheap CRAP and terrible customer service.

You've sent me the wrong phone. I went with your website specifically because of the colour of this phone in red/orange and you've sent me the boring plain one which is dark blue. Really dissatisfied with it.

I ordered several parts for my Galaxy M31 and they sent me the wrong battery, despite asking them to check first. Whatsapp chat response is slow, took multiple chats - and is unavailable if your phone is in pieces - and endless calls to chase up the correct battery, the return courier for the wrong one AND the refund! They're happy enough to take your money but customer care could be more focussed if they want better reviews.
Would have been so much less hassle to take to my local repair shop, but I guess I've learned how to fix it next time I drop it.

Fantastic service no messing around details taken on board great value for money ordered Thursday morning delivered Friday morning, I would use them a million times again thanks to all who made this possible
