Stairlift Warehouse is a UK-based specialist in the safe removal, recycling, and responsible resale of stairlifts. We understand that selling a stairlift often happens during a sensitive time in life. Whether following a house move, a change in mobility needs, or the loss of a loved one, we approach every collection with care, respect, and professionalism. Our engineers are polite, experienced, and trained to safely remove stairlifts without causing damage or leaving any mess behind. Unlike companies that simply scrap equipment, we focus on sustainability and reuse. Wherever possible, collected stairlifts are carefully inspected, tested, and reconditioned through our structured refurbishment process. Many units are given a second life, helping other families access affordable mobility solutions while significantly reducing unnecessary landfill waste. Parts that cannot be reused are disposed of responsibly in line with environmental and waste regulations. Our aim is to create a circular, ethical model that benefits homeowners, trade partners, and the wider community. We are a small, growing team that believes in honesty, transparency, and doing things properly. From clear communication and fair offers to prompt payment on collection day, we strive to make the entire process straightforward and stress-free. Stairlift Warehouse is the trading name of Wholesale Stairlift Services Ltd. We operate nationwide across the UK and are committed to building a trusted, long-term reputation based on genuine customer satisfaction.

Great company to deal with
Great company to deal with - swift to respond and clear in their communications before and during the process, with a fair price offered and received. I'm pleased the stairlift will either be reconditioned, or it's parts used, rather than it just going to landfill, as indicated by other Companies I had contacted. Their Engineer, Danny, was friendly, polite and professional, ensuring no mess was made.

Thank you, Helen. Swift, clear communication and a fair price are exactly what we aim for, and you're right that the lift will be reconditioned or its parts reused rather than sent to landfill, which is a big part of why we do what we do. Danny will be pleased to hear that he took such care and left no mess. We really appreciate the recommendation.

Excellent service
Danny turned up first thing in the morning on the day I moved house, and removed the stairlift quickly and efficiently. The price agreed was paid directly into my account before he left. Highly recommended.

Disappointing that the engineer turned…
Disappointing that the engineer turned up at wrong house.
Disappointed with price wouldn’t give me £400 as he said there was a fault. It was only the fact that it needed charging up that’s not a fault. The stairlift was only used for two months.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry the day didn’t go as smoothly as it should have.
Regarding the address: our engineer arrived promptly at the arranged time, but the address on the booking was different from where the stairlift actually was, around an hour away. This is what caused the initial mix-up. We completely understand how frustrating that was, and we’ll always try to confirm the exact collection address at the booking stage to prevent it from happening again.
Regarding the price: the figure quoted in the enquiry is a guide based on the details and photos provided beforehand. The final offer is always confirmed by the engineer on the day, once he’s able to inspect and test the lift in person. In this case, the lift couldn’t be powered up and tested when he arrived, so he wasn’t able to verify it was in full working order, and that’s reflected in the offer he was able to make. We understand it’s disappointing when a lift has only been in use for a short time, but our offers depend on the working condition we can confirm at the point of collection.
We’re glad you were happy to go ahead on the day. If you’d like to talk anything through, please call the office. We’d genuinely like to leave you feeling better about it. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know.

Declan and Danny arrived on time after calling me yesterday (Sunday) to confirm the appointment. Despite the early England World Cup match they professionally dismantled the stairlift and took it away all within the space of an hour. They were polite, efficient and great ambassadors for your company. Well done guys, football’s coming home😀😀👍⚽️⚽️⚽️

Thank you, Gillian, and thank you for the honest feedback. We're really pleased the removal itself went well and was a pleasant experience, but we're sorry our timekeeping let the day down. That's not the standard we set, and we'll look at how we can keep customers better updated when an engineer is running behind. We appreciate you taking the time to tell us.

The Stairlift Warehouse has been a pleasure to work with. John, who assessed and removed the stair lift was pleasant, helpful and above all efficient in the removal process. He left the house tidy having carefully removed all the fittings. Payment was a simple bank transfer to my account and I am very happy with the outcome.
