Can I give zero stars

Can I give zero stars? Unfortunately not. Please stay away from this company. There is a lot they don't disclose at the signing contracts, like support, prices, they can't fix your problems, yes, I mean problems which will happen a LOT and often , like every week system goes down and they have to login to your network computer to fix it or mess it up even more. Owner never call you back, you can't hear over the static on the phones, calls drop from nowhere and they blame your network which never before had problem, putting customers on hold which hangs up on them, music during conversation, no music on hold, when you change your recording, be prepared to go back on your working hours for the phone not working at all. I could go on and on, just stay away from company, plus there is price from them and price for the phones themselves, additional amount, just saying, which they're not disclosing at signing contract.

Transferred over to VOIP phones over 1…

Transferred over to VOIP phones over 1 year ago and although difficult to get used to the internet based service at first - our business is finding this service and company excellent in customer service with knowledgeable representatives whom actually make sure problem is taken care of before you hang up. The phones are very nice and work well for our business. We still experience a few problems now and then but most seem to be internet based, yet the tech does everything he/she can to fix the issue with one phone call. We have not had to wait on hold when calling and everyone is very professional. Although written on April Fools Day 2026, this is not an April fools joke.

Terrible company

Terrible company, avoid at all costs. 1000% all the same experience as everyone before. First off, they're not "Spectrum" they're "ice ice baby" to "under pressure", just a scammy ripoff. phones work terribly, service is terrible, and yes they lock you into a 5 year contract regardless if your equipment works or not. AND YES the salesman was super shady and said everything will be fine and we'll be happy... biggest croc of BS. this is the worst "company" I've ever come across. they've even hung up on me and blocked my number when I told them this after refusing to help me.

GET SAME SERVICE FOR 1/2 PRICE

When Spectrum raised their prices on my account I checked around and can get the same business landline service for 1/2 price from several other providers.

Not Part of Spectrum, mislead to fool you into their business

On June 13th two gentlemen entered our business with Spectrum shirts on claiming they were another branch of Spectrum. I advised that we were looking to switch from our Spectrum Enterprise to Spectrum Ring Central now that Business offers it. They advised they could get us switched immediately and get us a better rate on our Internet and Business bundle since we were doing the phone and eliminate the Enterprise and keep it all under one bill. They came back with good news that my enterprise service was at the end of the contract and it would be no additional cost to us. They showed the phones that would replace the Cisco and it was a phone we previously used. The young man that came in to install had no clue what he was doing and took all day to install. The features they claimed that would stay in place no longer work, we received 1761 emails advising we had 3 voicemails, you could not identify who the calls were coming from, time of call or anything other than what the voicemail managed to capture. The answer was tech support calling my number nonstop to test our phones and telling us not to answer, she's testing. when I finally got fed up and called Spectrum to complain and get this fixed, I discovered they are not associated with Spectrum at all and I, among many others was deceived.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Half the time the product they sell you doesn't work and they come up with lame excuses. After 4 years of my mobile phone app not working, I finally figured it out after no one getting back with me. I am downsizing and do not need all of the phones, they don't care, I have to keep all of them in a box and pay for them until the contract is fulfilled! I was going to fulfill my contract only downsize.

Customer service is horrific

Customer service is horrific, we would put in a request for service but within minutes get an email thanking us for being a customer and close the service ticket. They would send an email confirming the issue was resolved and the service ticket was closed but they never contact you to resolve issues. We are switching service. I googled top 5 and top 10 VOIP providers and had them send quotes and details. Spectrumvoip never showed up on the google searches

Technician Mark came to install 6…

Technician Mark came to install 6 phones for our Law office. Very helpful explaining and setting it all up. Fantastic support team as well. When you dial '4357' you get live support immediately any time of the day. As a lawyer, the clarity of their contract which includes all charges, no hidden fees (unlike the other voip companies out there) as well as no increases to our rate for at least 5 years makes this Spectrum VOIP the best phone company I have ever worked with.

Terrible phone service avoid !

I am a customer and can say Dont Do It!
Avoid this company like the plague.
Phones are down (again) on their end. I ama a service industry . They won't even answer the phone and help me make sure itsbon their end.
Technical support asked me to leave a message. It's been three hours today of my company having no phone line. These phones are extremely expensive, phone calls are not clear . Technical support is saved in my phone because it's needed so much . Today no technical support will even answer . The phones you rent are expensive and never get paid off. They will not let you out of your contract so waiting until July. Then I'm FREE and hopefully get my number back too.

Don't sign a contract with this company!

This is a 5 year contract that you better read before you sign. It states that no matter if the equipment works or not, you are responsible for the full 5 year contract if you sign. Do not sign this contract!

The salesman stuck the contract under my nose, handed me a pen and told me, "just sign it, you'll be happy you did."

What a joke. The phones don't work well. Sometimes you can't even answer the phone when it rings.
Their technical service calls you back after two or three days. My "project manager" would not return my calls or emails. This is a very shady company.

SpectrumVOIP service is generally good…

SpectrumVOIP service is generally good and their tech support team has been great the few times I've needed them. That said, billing / invoicing is terrible. As a small business with one phone number we get several bills per month with charges not easily traced to the original contract. The billing team is quite surly and UNHELPFUL. Will almost certainly pick another service when this contract is up in a year or so.

Beware these guys have the same name as…

Beware these guys have the same name as spectrum cable but they are not associated with the company. My father fell for this when he thought his company was signing up for VoIP with a large national cable company but then found out he signed his company up with them.

Absolutely horrible service. Nothing but constant problems with no resolve or help from them.
