I called Spectra Drive this morning after noticing that £250 had been taken out of my account. I spoke with Liam, who was extremely helpful from the start. He explained that he would need to speak with his manager and promised to call me back within an hour — which he did.
When he called back, Liam was very understanding and polite. He resolved the issue quickly by arranging a full refund of the £250. I really appreciated his professionalism, understanding, and the way he made me feel supported throughout the process.

Great service from the very first call, recovery of my vehicle involved in a accident was collected within the hr, and a courtesy car was dropped at my front door soon after, I was kept upto date with all details of what was happening with my car and was able to keep the courtesy car until my vehicle was ready which made my day to day life could continue as was the only vehicle in the household, can’t thank you guys enough for helping me in what was a stressful time after the accident
I was unfortunate to be involved in a non-fault RTA in November 2025 which was when I engaged with Spectra Drive. They took the hassle out of dealing with incompetent and difficult car insurers and provided recovery of my damaged vehicle, a like for like replacement vehicle, legal assistance, vehicle repair service and personal injury provision if required. All of this whilst liaising with the at fault insurer. Using Spectra meant I did not have to pay any money out myself with all of their costs ultimately recovered from the at fault insurer. Throughout the process, Spectra communicated with me regularly and kept me up to date with developments and progress alike.
In particular I would like to say a massive thank-you to Liam at Spectra who was extremely helpful on numerous occasions and who went above and beyond requirements to ensure a smooth and memorable customer experience.
Spectra Drive provide an all round service and a high level of customer assistance that you would not receive from your typical car insurance provider. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Spectra Drive given my own positive experience of them.
I have to say Neil from Spectre and the team surpassed all my expectations.
After wrongly contacting them instead of my own insurance, Spectra picked up my car, delivered a hire car, and assessed my car for damage all within 2 days of my accident, on the third day I found out the mistake I had made.
After a few telephone conversations with Neil and his team, my car was delivered back to me the hire car picked up from their lovely delivery driver Steve, and all without charge for anything, as promised by Neil.
Honestly was so relieved after making such a huge mistake, but their service once identified was brilliant, the only thing stopping a 5 star review was telephone conversation with one of their team, if it had not been for that it would have been an easy 5 stars.
Terrible experience. They asked for bank statements which wasnt needed, i rang police and police said not to as fraud. Had to fight to get my car back and went through my insurance. Avoid at all costs

The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It drove perfectly and made my journey smooth and stress-free. Collection and return were both efficient, with no delays or hidden issues. I felt valued as a customer throughout. I would highly recommend this company.

I would honestly give less than 1 star if I could. We were recommended to use this company by our insurance, for an accident that was not our fault. Incompetent and misinformation all the way. It took nearly 4 months for the money to be sent to us. They asked 6 times for our insurance documents!! The horror stories of the hire car provided, put us off, so we returned the hire car after 4 days. They constantly asked us about the hire car and we had to tell them all the time, we did not have a hire car. We were told this would delay our claim. We contacted the at fault drivers insurance, and they paid within 24 hours of our email and we still had to wait over a week for the money to get to our account. Please save yourselves a lot of stress and DO NOT USE this company. A very stressful situation was made a whole lot worse by this firm.
From the very first phone call after being hit by a drink driver, every single member of Spectra Drive have always been polite, understanding and helpful in solving a claim that wasn’t my fault. I cannot thank them enough for all their help and support through an extremely worrying situation. I would highly recommend Spectra Drive as a calm and supportive company. There was an issue with my insurance and information being finalised, and Chenise from Spectra finally shed some light and resolved the issue for me after weeks of back and forth with my insurance, thank you! The worst experience I’ve ever had.
I had a serious accident in November 2025. I rang who I thought my my insurance, but as it turned out the number for Admiral took me through to a 3rd party unknown to me, and spectra appeared.
I mentioned admiral several times on my initial phone calls and not once did they deny they were anything to do with admiral, until about 2 weeks later when I found out what had happened and questioned them on the phone. To which, one of their many employees who sound about 15 years old, uninterested and rude said to me ‘well yeah, we aren’t with admiral, and we would have defo told you that’ not understanding my concern and blaming it on me.
A few weeks on told me that the fault insurance was disputing having to pay for my hire car, and that I may have to cover some of the (£350 a day) costs. So I rushed to sort myself a new car, but giving I had to wait for my settlement I had to get family money to do this, and gave the hire car back.
This week I’ve now been told that giving the hire car back will delay my claim even further.
Whenever I ask for an update I barely get a response for over 4 days unless I continuously email or call, and overall they’ve made an already terrible situation even worse and I’d never deal with them again
Also- STILL NOT SORTED 2 MONTHS ON AND TOLD IT COULD TAKE YEARS

( keys left with partner ) Communication was very good and I was happy with the price i got for my old car which was written off . Can't fault the service

We not happy what you guys did with us you take higher color of us before Christmas carposed to be pickup Before Christmas is still on as driveway blocking us away. Nobody came to pick up the car who normally is take higher car of the people through the Christmas I'm not happy about this guys. You know did well job you like us now we got which you with everything you didn't help us 100%
