Spacedesk Arvostelua 16

Ich hatte zunächst massive Probleme bei der Installation der WIN11-64Bit-Version der Server-Software (Geekom A8, Windows 11 25H2). Die Installation der heruntergeladenen .msi-Datei schlug wiederholt mit der Meldung fehl, dass das Installationspaket nicht geöffnet werden konnte.

Nach längerer Fehlersuche stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass die Ursache nicht bei spacedesk lag, sondern an einem defekten Windows Installer (msiexec) auf meinem System. Nach dessen Reparatur ließ sich spacedesk problemlos installieren und funktioniert seitdem einwandfrei.

Die Fehlersuche war allerdings dadurch erschwert, dass kein direkter Support angeboten wird (nur Forum mit Registrierungspflicht). Hier wäre eine einfachere Kontaktmöglichkeit wünschenswert.

Fazit: Technisch eine sehr gute Lösung, die bei mir nach Behebung des Systemproblems zuverlässig läuft. Die Support-Struktur könnte jedoch verbessert werden.

I used this app to test if I actually wanted a second monitor (｡•̀ᴗ•́｡)✧
Once I switched it to extend display, it worked like a real second screen and not just mirroring 😭➡️🖥️

It was super helpful for Discord, browsing, and keeping extra windows open without cluttering my main screen ♡💬🌸
Performance was good over Wi-Fi, and setup was easier than I expected (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و ✨

Once downloaded it broke my mouse i coudnt use it put it in the trash bought a new one same problem after good look on the internet i found that it was space desk. If you read this space desk where can i send my 120 euro bill for the mous

Easy to set up and great for adding another monitor to your setup along with touchscreen support.

This is very underrated and can only be found by YouTube Videos. Why is that? This is such a great tool!

I just installed this on my laptop, and extended the display to a P12 Lenovo pad. It was such an easy task without the need of any configuration at all. Great piece of software Space Desk!

dont trust other reviews, this is the besttt app to use your tablet or mobile as second monitor.

Great customer service. Had a problem with the spen's hover compatability and it was solved in less than a month. Totally deserves this review and keep up the good work

Forget this app. It is not usable. When you connect your second screen, a portion of your first screen is excluded and can be viewed on the second screen. Perfect. This is not an extension, but an exclusion.

Spacedesk has done really fine.

AVOID THIS APP !!!!

This is a program that had a far as I can tell an insolvable bug. Runs done for about 20 mins after that disconnects constantly. When this happens it causes the focus to shift and interrupts anything you might be doing. If anyone knows of and alternative please Lmk. I spent like 3 days designing a sensor panel and don't want to abandon it but this program is an absolute nightmare

Just downloaded and installed Spacedesk, very easy to setup and works great. I connected my iPad to my Windows 11 laptop via Wi-Fi. I like how when my laptop goes into sleep mode and then I unlock, the iPad stays connected. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an extra screen.

It is the best free alternative that will help you easily to use your other computer or mac as a monitor, although the way it is made is normal that you have a little lag or the quality is not perfect, its perfect for something static that does not require much movement.

It works exceptionally well, however there are some bugs present, and few workarounds. Firstly, what makes this program excellent to use for consumer purpose is that it offers the ability to utilize unused devices (tablets, phones, tv (supported platforms), etc.) On your device that will connect, there is a list of platforms that you will be able to connect to via LAN/WIFI. However, one security issue is that they do not have a password locked system, meaning anyone on your home WIFI can access your display. The bandwidth isn't all too bad, and it gives you the option to use up to 60hz on your device, but there are some issues present if your WIFI is being accessed by something else, such as downloading a game, etc.

One of my major concerns is how it tampers with your system.
One issue I've had is when I attempt to shutdown my computer, it stays on and the little display will say "Disconnecting from *IP ADDRESS*". One workaround for this is to disconnect the device before you shutdown your computer.

I don't know if this is related at all, but whenever I receive an update for a driver on my system, my computer will give me weird functionalities such as spamming my keyboard and opening different programs, as well as typing Korean/Chinese? letters.

Another issue is that rarely I'll receive a blue screen playing games, with an error code saying "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", which hasn't happened prior to me installing the program.

To conclude, I would recommend this program to people who want to have a few more monitors for their workspace. However, there can be some issues.
