I have been coming to Space Dental for over 7 years after an accident where I lost my two front teeth and cannot praise them enough for their friendliness, professionalism, and talent. The staff are always incredibly welcoming, from reception all the way through to treatment and make you feel totally at ease. Dr Affan has done 2 sets of my composite bonding over the years and both times have been incredible! However I would recommend any of the practitioners, especially Dr Adam who was really lovely and knowledgeable. Totally recommend to anyone thinking about it, it's so worth it!

So, I booked a consultation appointment for my teeth. Before the appointment, I made it crystal clear what I wanted: first, to have my teeth aligned, and then to get implants done. I made it clear that my teeth were really bad and tightly packed, missing a few here and there, and I’m certain braces will be needed. They assured me that during the consultation, they would perform scans and X-rays to guarantee the best possible outcome. Plus, if braces were needed, there was a specific doctor who handled them—just one specialist for that! They told me most people wouldn’t need braces, only in the really severe cases—and I kept stating, hey, that might just be me. So I paid £50 to arrange the appointment, yet all staff were very friendly and kind. My gut tells me this system exists mainly to market their aligners. After completing every exam, the doctor admitted my case was extremely difficult and suggested I might need to set up a follow-up appointment for braces. I shot back, “I literally said before this appointment that I may need braces and my teeth were very bad. I wouldn’t be coming back for another one.”. Then the nurse leans in, whispering to the doctor, “Ah, what about the complex aligners?” Honestly, it felt like she was trying to drop a hint between the lines—something that came off as pretty rude to me. He then mentions that May might work, but it wouldn’t be able to perfectly align every tooth—especially the ones in the back. I made sure to reassure him that from day one, my main focus would be on braces—and if I’m going to invest in a service, I want it to deliver real results. Seriously, why pay otherwise? Then he said he'd snap some pictures and send them straight to the braces specialist doctor. After stepping away to talk to someone, he came back with a fresh perspective and firmly reassured me that the complex aligners were going to do the trick. I said okay, if you’re sure, that’s totally fine and after we could do some compounding on to make my teeth look more white. Then he told me to get in touch with the administrator coordinator to dive into the plan and prices. The total hit nearly £7000 for the aligners, one deep clean (nevertheless I just had paid for one) and once he added the compounding to make my teeth shine brighter—all without implants—he then asked if I wanted a quote just for the aligners so we could chat about further treatment down the line; I agreed. Without adding any compounding, the price slid down to £5000. Then he tossed out, “I may get you some discount,” pretending to step away and consult a specialist doctor. A second later, he returned with a delightful 20% discount in hand. Suddenly, he's passionately raving about how incredible this treatment is—talking nonstop for nearly thirty minutes, throwing every argument at me to persuade me. Then I ask him for some time to think it over, and he shoots back, “I don’t want to pressure you, but you might miss out on the 20% discount later.” I calmly reply, “No worries—that’s not a problem. "I don’t do things under pressure," he says coolly. I asked how long it would take to see results with the aligners, and he answered, "In extreme cases, maybe around 9 months, but usually we start seeing changes in about 6 months." Right then, I realised this was all a setup just to sell the aligners. So, I asked him to send me all the information detailed by email, but up until today, they still haven't done it. Space Dental” and then ask me for the feedback, 4 days after they continuously ask me if I have second thoughts (again without send me the details and information as we discussed). Trust me, I wouldn’t put my name on recommending it! Prepare yourself—you're stepping into a scheme designed to chain you with debt, wrapped in a system that's anything but reliable or clear.
