It's my second review on the company and an update.

Registered with Companies House as Supply Only Windows' Ltd. It appears under many other names. Check with Companies House in the search box, their only name is Supply Only Windows Ltd.

If you made a contract with them, ask for an attachment / hard copy their link quickly disappears. I suggest you take a screenshot, proof that a Fensa certificate is part of your contract and quotation.

Your online contract will not have a cooling period, which is against the law, if you sign it online at home.

They promise they would come on a certain date to fit. They gave me 6 installation dates, 4 cancellations on short notice, 2 no shows. I believe they do this to everyone to make you really want to get over it. It is a distraction tactic, to take your focus from the Fensa certificate, which is part of your contract.

When I realised that, thanks to a previous review, I gave a notice of their breaching the contract by not giving a Fensa certificate. I kept asking their active Fensa membership number. No response. They have been suspended by Fensa since January.

I also asked for a charge back from the credit card company, which investigated and gave them 45 days to prove their claim. I got the money back in line with the solicitors' decisions of MasterCard.

In response, Supply Only Windows sent the debt collectors - used threatening tactics late nights - Athena on me to pressurise. They gave me less than 24 hours to respond from the time of receiving their 2nd class letter. It has caused great anxiety to me and my wife. And the whole process .

I reported Athena to the Financial Ombudsman Services, as the debt was not reported as disputed. They are investigating.

So is Fensa. So is Trading Standards.

Please feel free to raise a complaint through Fensa and Trading Standards.

If they have already fitted, please think about the following . In England without a building regulations compliance certificate, your units are illegally fitted. You have the right to ask for a Fensa certificate. Without a Fensa, you will have great difficulties to mortgage, sell or insure your property and your property value may well drop. You won't have an insurance back guarantee for 10 years, either.

Don't let them dictate. Find a solution.

The most disturbing company I ever dealt with

Got new windows and door, however I asked for FENSA certificate and company refuses to send it

Called FENSA and the company can’t even register anything with FENSA AS THEY ARE SUSPENDED!!

Asked the company to give me a postal address and email address to make a formal complaint but the company refused to do this

Asked for the back of the contract to be sent as I only seen the front of it only (just a picture taken) again the company refused to do this

This is my second review of this company and so far this is just nightmare,
The company registered under Supply Windows Only LTD, call FENSA and they will confirm no jobs can be registered with them

Currently seeking legal action against them for breaking the contract and refusing to address any issues

The company is ghosting now after they received the money

DON'T GO WITH THEM AS THEY TRY EVERYTHING TO REMOVE ALL NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON TRUSTPILOT AND SOCIAL MEDIA, THEY WILL BLOCK YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Ordered a door in May, still waiting. Heard excuse after excuse of why they can’t give me a date. Van broken, doing the routing now - 3 times and now ignoring all messages…..

I worked with SO Windows and Doors from the early days when things were going well. I put my reputation on the line with 42 years experience for them and all seemed well. I recommended friends to go ahead and order from them. However, things gradually got worse over time and I am now in the horrible position of having upset friends of many years because of the dreadful so called customer service and lies! I have had nothing to do with them for a few months now, and I am still trying to assist the referrals I made to them. I suggest if you paid your deposit via card, contact your issuer for a refund on the basis the contract was not fulfilled. Still awaiting several of my referrals to have the job done or a refund!

The company were responsive to start with but once they got my deposit all paper work they sent vis what’s app disappeared and they did not respond to e mails . My main frustration was a lack of communication . They did not respond to e mails or messages . I did however get through on the phone be line a few times . I had to do all the chasing up . I ordered my windows in Jan expecting fitting in April . I kept calling to get a fitting date and was told there was a delay with the door . Eventually I got a call from a fitter Kate June to say they were fitting the windows that day but had to collect them so it would be the following day . The company organisations station and management is awful and they need to learn how to communicate with customers . The windows and doors however once fitted are nice and I amassed with the finished product .

Nightmare

My wife and I are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Not only that S O Windows passed 6 installation deadlines 04/04. 07/04. 13-14/04. 27-28/04. 05-06/05. 25-26/05. 4 of them were cancelled by the company on short notice and 2 of them they did not simply turn up causing missed work, income loss and incredible stress and hours of waiting for them in vain. Lies upon lies and aggressive, manipulative threats to us. Chelsea was sacked, Kira was sacked, van broke down etc.

Contract was made 18 February. It's June now. Tonight is the last straw. Credit card company is disputing a charge back now. Police have been advised about the company's threats for taking me to court and issuing me a CCJ creating a huge expense, demanding the ballance with or without fitting (£70 off per units if supply only).

S O Windows Ltd, their trading name, was already suspended by Fensa when they sold me the products and services (they didn't send me a contract in a durable form, either, nor a quote just through a link. Since then I have the quote from them which includes a Fensa certificate as part of the contract.

The only reason we chose this company was a Fensa certificate upon completion.

Since then Fensa confirmed that no job can be registered by SO Windows while they are put on hold / suspended.

Without Fensa the products and services would come without warranty, my house value would severely decrease, become unsellable, unmortgeageable in the next 10 years at least. Also, uninsurable.

Unfair trading

This company is a fraud! avoid them at all cost! it has been 3 and half months since I placed an order and they still have not fitted my door and refuse to make a refund now.

First of all the fitters, were absolutely amazing.
But I would never recommend going with this company- S O Windows doors and conservatories. We ordered a new front door in January and it was finally fitted in May. The fitters originally arrived in March but the door frame was the wrong colour and was hinged the wrong side. After reordering I was advised a date of the 13th May for the door to be installed, they rang a few days before and said actually the fitters will arrive the 14th May. Then I was called on the 14th and was told there was a problem with the fitters so it'll be installed on the 18th instead. After waiting in all morning on the 18th, I chased the company asking for an ETA and was told that they are now having problems with their suppliers and don't know what's happening.
Out of the blue on the 18th I was grateful to receive a call from the fitters who said they have my door on the van and are travelling all the way from Newcastle (I'm in the south west). They arrived on 19th and fitted the door. I really love the door but the length of time and excuses was ridiculous.

From ordering to fitting was very good.
Colin fitted the door very professional great fella ,very experienced talked me througjh the process.made sure i was happy
And everything was wprking correctly .
Payment process very easy.

Do not use, currently raising a complaint through FENSA, Trading Standards informed and taking legal action. I’d suggest either avoiding the company or raising a complaint through FENSA.
The trading name for the company is Supply Only Windows Ltd.
With regards to FENSA, their account is on hold due to outstanding paperwork, surprise surprise, but you can still raise a complaint online.

This company are an absolute disgrace, they tell you one thing then when you pay for the survey change the date so you aren't around and then attend when you are not around (or do they !!).
These are cowboys and the customer service from Chelsea is nothing short of disgusting and very unprofessional, her tonality is very demeaning and derogatory.
Buyers please be aware here when contemplating using these for anything.

Wow, what a shambles this company is...survey done in October for full house replacement doors and windows...deposit paid, April now....no contact since February, wtf! Asked for my deposit back, not possible...the biggest scam, shouldn't be allowed to continue trading....Martin Lewis money saving expert would slaughter this company!!! I did read reviews in September and reviews were average, but since Christmas, its all crap...and the couple of good reviews they have had are probably written by current staff members 😀 😄

Not happy with this company, we contacted them with what door we wanted and they got back to us straight away and asked us when they could fit it and we said yeah that’s perfect kept in contact and came to our house snd measured up the fittings and asked for a deposit which was £600 payed that . And then suddenly after we sent this deposit the calls and messages became distanced which is very strange because as soon as they knew what we wanted and how much the door was and we was gonna pay this deposit they kept us updated with the process. And now we have been left with no explanation except that we have been told 4 time now ! That “they can’t do the door because of unforeseen circumstances out of their control” which we understand that but then it was every time on the message they was sending us which is now a joke , then said they can’t do it this day now then would rearrange the appointment and cancel . They have told us they would be in contact within 2 days and haven’t heard anything since . Me and my family have tried to call this company 2 times a day and left messages and still nothing !! . My dad is 71 years old and is stressed out he doesn’t need this he was so happy with getting this door and now he is upset as you have just left if in the dark taking the deposit and not getting back to him. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour for a “business” . If we don’t receive a call or message within the next 2 days , we will be taking this action against you If all this go well and you fit out door we will not take it further . If i could rate 0 stars i would. I would stay clear of this company and wish i had read reviews prior to using them.
Delays from the onset but my main concern is the damage to walls and tiles and unfinished seal on one window.The was a failure to supply the reciept and warrenty. The lack of response to letters and when they did finally reply the claimed that they couldnt do anything due to the length of time! I sent pictures via watzap ( their preferred method of commuication) i also have watzap msgs saying the warrenty would cover the damage. The warrenty is actually useless as it is for a door and i had 5 windows fitted.
I did consider taking them to court but could not deal with any further stress and upset from this ignorent unprofessional company . I have also found someone to repair the damage and complete the seal.
Not what I expected at all

Order came very later. Paid the agreed amount initially of 1/3 of my order and then another payment of 1/3 when measurements were taken, this was in early November. I was promised my bifold and windows will be fitted first week in
December. But I was given the run around with van broke down to orders will arrive before Christmas. Each time I call I was today fitting will be done the following week, which never happened. I eventually got the order and fitting done in February. Every person I initially spoke with I was told had left the company how very convenient. Very i professional company, I will not go near them again.

Had my windows fitted yesterday, the lady Hope who was my initial contact at the company was informative and no pressure at all, she guided me through the process and was very efficient. After the order was placed and deposit paid experienced a delay in fitting due to unforeseen circumstances.

Tony and Darren arrived as promised yesterday and the windows were fitted , they both were professional and polite throughout and respected my property.

I looked at So Windows and doors as I had been let down. Asked for a quote for a composite door and decided to order. I was told a deposit of 1/3 payable .Paid this and then paid 1/3 when survey completed asked for a colour variation and was told it would be £110 extra. Total £1350. Waited for weeks and eventually the door arrived. The chap fitted it...after breaking my plants by putting the door on it. The surface of the door has white marks on it....the fitter who told me was the owner of the company then gave me some paint to cover the marks??? I did question this at the time. Then I received the request for the balance. They asked for £850 when it was £730. I questioned this and received very aggressive response. In the end the woman i spoke to apologised and agreed it was £730. Two days later one of the end cap of the rain guard (thin black plastic) was on the floor broken which i think happened when it was fitted. I asked if somebody could come and fit another. I received a response that something must have broken it. We cant just come round for that.....mmmm £1350 paid.....0 customer service....i am 70 yrs of age and still working to pay for things like this to make my life more comfortable....feel very disappointed and totally ripped off.!
Response to below. I did question the white marks and was given touch up paint. The fitter put the door on top of my plants and said when i asked him to remove the door from them sorry Im not a garden person. And the response to the rain guard part that was broken was that your fitters cant just pop around the next day for that. Something must have hit it. Not, we will have to order the part and would be delighted to fit it. Overall I am happy with the door but having purchased a composite door in the past I am disappointed that I have not had the same experience. Shame...

Company do not honour agreements made. Not reliable or trustworthy I'm afraid. Management the issue, not the sub contractor's fault. They try their best- then do not get paid and customer is left bewildered as to what is going on.

Don't go near this company. The reviews citing how bad it is are no joke. Literally fraudulant. The reason your doors aren't even near to getting fitted is that they probably haven't even ordered them yet. Goes through fitters like you wouldn't believe. Not a care in the world for people who save thier money and lose it to this money grabbing owner. Beyond terrible.

Do not use!!!!!

This company is run so badly , the owner does not care about customers or fitters. He will take your money and then promise you the world and never get back to you.
