Southwood Garden Centre Arvostelua 

Very disappointing experience.

My parcel was left in an unsecured location and I did not receive it. The seller relied solely on a photograph of the package left unattended as “proof of delivery.” A photo of a parcel sitting somewhere does not demonstrate that it was delivered into my possession — only that it was left there.

PayPal closed the case based on that photo, and the seller has refused to take responsibility, directing me back to PayPal. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, responsibility for goods remains with the seller until they are delivered into the consumer’s possession. A parcel left in an unsecured location does not meet that standard.

I am still seeking a full refund. Unfortunately, based on how this has been handled I would not recommend this company. Absolutely disgraceful service!!

Ordered led multicolour ball lights from Southwood Garden Centre and they were as expected. Good quality and very good price as well. Delivered quickly as well. Altogether very happy with my purchase and the service.

Purchased some very nice solar lights for my garden, one didn't charge up even though I had left in sunshine for 2 days. Contacted the staff and wrote an email, no problem fast efficient service rectified it by sending me a new drop in solar part for it. Thank you so much for making my shopping experience a good one. I will be checking out products from this garden centre to purchase more items in future.

I found a nice little Star Wars plant pot on Southwood's website that I hadn't seen elsewhere. Perfect gift for my brother. Cost £4.99 but only postage option was £12.85 given my postcode in Scotland. I do not live in a remote area and don't usually incur extra postage costs. But what the hey, decided to go for it as I knew my brother would like it. I assumed at that price the delivery would be by courier. Was extremely disappointed when it came via Royal Mail at a postage cost of just £4.95. I felt ripped off if I'm honest. No justification for that delivery charge whatsoever. Nice plant pot though.

Came into the garden centre yesterday and would just like to say how helpful the lady was on the till. She was called Caroline and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure being served by her

Order some outdoor solar lights as were a great price and then ordered some more for other family members .
Had a phone call just to check that the 2 orders were correct and not a mistake.
Very happy to say that the P+P for 1 Oder was refunded to me and all lights sent in 1 delivery.Great service

Early response of my order being accepted and the ongoing updates my order, the shipping companies updates ref. the expected time and date of delivery. The items ordered were securely packaged and arrived on time.Delivery staff were kind and considerate to my wife.
