South Coast Solar Solutions … disappointed
I met with Dean Mycock and a colleague from South Coast Solar Solutions to discuss a potential solar installation for our very large building. The meeting was positive, and Dean presented the company professionally. He said he would prepare and send a proposal for us to consider.
After the meeting, however, I received nothing. I followed up with Dean, who then specifically promised to provide the proposal within 24 hours. Despite that assurance, no proposal was sent, and I received no further communication.
I understand that not every potential project will be suitable for a company to pursue. However, once a business has agreed to provide a proposal—and especially after confirming a specific timescale—I believe it is reasonable to expect that commitment to be honoured or, at the very least, that the customer is informed if circumstances change.
Unfortunately, my experience was defined by a complete lack of follow-up and communication. This was disappointing and did not reflect the level of professionalism I expected.
I will not be contacting Dean or South Coast Solar Solutions again. Dean talked a good talk but didn’t deliver.
