I'd love to give them a zero, or better yet a negative number rating. I experienced everything mentioned in all the one-star reviews. Lousy quality. And despite their published returns policy, will provide only 10 cents on the dollar spent if returned. This company is a total SCAM. Run away fast!

I ordered a leather jacket based on my normal size and size chart. Since this company is an “unknown” for me, I reviewed their return policy and it seemed fairly straightforward. Not as easy as Target, Amazon, or other dependable well-known companies, but acceptable.

When the jacket arrived, it was so small…in all ways. Following their return policy, I sent them an email with the required information asking them to send me the required return information. Instead of sending me the information, I received an email offering everything but the option that I requested. I responded immediately and since then I have not received any response. I feel like they are dragging their feet because a customer can only return items within a 30 day window.
I paid almost $60 and now I am being treated like anything but a valued customer. I would stay far, far away from this company. They seem to have nice products but it’s like a “bait and switch” experience. Also, they seem to be part of the “Shop” network of stores. I have only had one other experience with the Shop network and that too was not a great experience in terms of their return policy. So, my recommendation is to stay away from Solitude Fashions and the Shop network of stores.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I purchased a black turtleneck sweater. I got no confirmation, but the $39.99 was taken from my bank immediately, which I thought was strange. It took 2 weeks to arrive, no biggie. However, the material was rough like burlap, the color looked faded but the most puzzling part…I couldn’t get it over my head, the turtleneck was so small it wouldn’t fit over my 3 year old granddaughter’s head. Prior to purchasing I carefully read their return policy since I knew I’d be ordering outside of the country. Useless customer service. I emailed and was told they did not have my customer name or order number. I took a screenshot of the packaging, my bank statement, and the numbers on the bag the ugly sweater arrived in. I told them I didn’t want to keep going back and forth with the emails I just needed a return address to mail the item back, at my expense as stated in their return policy. “Molly” emailed back giving me these options…they would let me 1.select something else. 2. Give me a gift card for one of their items or 3. They would refund 10% of the cost of the sweater and I could keep it. I told her I didn’t want any option she offered but would like a full refund after returning the sweater. I have since been ghosted. This is a sham company and I suggest you shop elsewhere.

It's a phishing scam company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS SITE. I was dumb enough to fall for it. Bought 4 items for $280, shittiest quality clothing I have ever purchased. Nothing like what was promised. Spoke to customer service about a return and all they offered was a 10% return... I said hell no and eventually got a 60% return and kept the crappy Chinese clothing. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

I would give it zero stars if it was an option. I am from Europe and liked the fact this company seemed to be from the Netherlands. There was a phone number (which later I realized must be fake because it rings busy at any time). I realized this company ships only from China. I tried to cancel before it shipped since the website said I could but they refused to cancel. After receiving the product, it had no care labels and looked like a cheap plastic made jacket. It should be illegal to not add any labels. I asked for a refund and return label and they only gave me options for store credit, a 10% refund and keeping the item or an exchange. Again, I had to point out their policy and asked for a full refund. They kept hesitating and I knew they did not want the product back. They said it might get lost with UPS etc.. They then gave me a China Return address and I knew it would never make it back there. I finally disputed the charges with my bank and they gave me a full refund. Fraudulent company!! Do not buy!!

This is a fake "Netherlands" business. They are scamming people out of their money. Their clothes are coming from china, not the Netherlands. The quality is non-existing. The cloth is the worst, all made in china. Absolutely a disappointment. There were no vibrant colors. My bank was able to get me a credit, but I still lost out on the shipping. I did not wait for the 30 days, that is a non-existing. They know some banks will not allow a credit after 60 days because that is how long it takes for the clothes to arrive and be "processed". Please don't fall for this scam!!!

BEWARE!!! This company is a scam! They send you an item that looks nothing like what they advertise! This is the second time they have done this to me and then offer you a 10% refund and they tell you that you could keep the item, which is made horribly and looks nothing like the item you ordered! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They scam you of your money knowing that to return the item, it will cost you almost just as much as what you paid for the item! Don't order anything from this company or any company like this, you will be sorry you did!

Tried to return an item so emailed customer service as stated on the website. The customer service rep said a 10% refund was all she could offer. The item was unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging, and I requested a return within 30 days of its arrival, so I am unclear why I am not allowed to return this item. When asked this question directly, the customer service representative did not answer, just said she could give me a 30% refund.
I'm very disappointed in the customer service and I will not consider buying items from this retailer again if I can't return them!

Great product overall. Was worried about fit but the sizing guide was accurate. Packaged well and arrived right on time.
