this website is not working, phone numbers not connecting, im guessing email would be useless, this was ok for 2 years into a 6 years maintenance contract , what do i do now . would be ok if some warning, not a happy bunny
This company sold us a bad installation and useless battery setup , I’ve had the problem solved by turning off the power as wires were loose. Tried to contact them about this and the risk of fire they have no working phones and seem to have disappeared from the market. This company took elderly customers money and did bad installation and ran. Beware this company and anything associated with the director!!.

Solar Daddy installed a battery that was faulty and eventually it was changed by subcontractor, however it does not charge my meter. I was away for 4 weeks and should have had extra energy collected during very sunny days. My meter has been stuck on the same reading for over 7 months. Nobody is replying to my emails
Following a service call from a Solar Daddy agent on February 4th 2025
I agreed a contract to replace a battery and paid £4,750 for the job. Subsequently I found that their agent had misled me about the need for this replacement. According to their cantract regarding cancellations "a refund will be made no more than 28 days of the cancellation"
To date 23/07/25 NO REEFUND HAS BEEN MADE.
Having examined the records at Companies House, it appears that the company Solar Daddy has applied to be removed from the register.
I have emailed the Company but as yet reeceived no reply.
Although the original installation of the battery was acceptable, this development should raise concerns!
I've got solar batteries from this company. I've paid for 2 more wich have not been delivered/installed. I also payed for them to have maintenence checks done witch iv asked for and heard nothing
I've also asked for my money back on the 2 barrier iv paid for until iv had a maintained check done on they are functional because at the minute they don't work and iv still heard nothing

Confirming the experience of the review headlined Turley written on 29 April. Despite endless requests for action from Solar Daddy nobody has had the courtesy to make contact. They took money in advance and signed a contract for two cleanings a year. That was in 2023. Not seen hide nor hair of them since October 2023. They take your money and refuse to do the job. I don't know what you would call this kind of behaviour but I suspect it's exactly what I think too. This firm is so poor/stupid/uncaring that they don't seem to mind endless complaints and 1 star reviews. Any decent company would apologise and hasten to repair the damage. This lot don't give a toss. They've got your money and that's all they care about.
I can only echo what others have already said. Rip you off with a maintenance contract and don't fulfil the agreement. Signed up in Sept 2023, had a maintenance and panel clean by Jan and nothing since. Calling on a daily basis at the moment but the 3 girls on reception keep to the party line of Asis will be calling you soon.....surprise surprise nothing! Did receive a call from someone whose voice I recognised from Solar Daddy now claiming to work for ESA saying the company had gone into liquidation! According to Companies House, Asis has resigned and started up another company called Sola Muma???
A shocking company and avoid at all costs and any other company the previous directors have started. Please check Companies House before proceeding with any future enquires.
My initial feeling about this company was positive, however after a year I am now not at all positive.
We agreed to paying them £2,500 for a 13 year contract to clean and insure our panels. The contract stated that they would clean them 2 times a year, 3 times in the first year. They have done it once and now say it's a "complimentary" service.
They have tried to sell us a wind turbine, a voltage optimiser, a battery none of which we wanted and some of which are useless.
We were told that the voltage optimiser would reduce out energy bills because our energy supplier charged us for the voltage we received. That's simply a lie, even if it's what is written in their glossy brochure.
They tried to tell us we would generic 7kw from a wind turbine but didn't provide any evidence that this was actually achievable. Nor did they offer to conduct a survey.
They told us that they could provide a complete reroof service, but when I asked for a quote they said they didn't offer this service.
They eventually stopped calling us to try and sell us more stuff when I told them I wasn't interested.
My advice would be to save your money and find a more reputable and honest company.
This company i aint delt with personaly but my dad has he tryed 2 to 5 times to ring them because they own him a battery but they aint answered and now hearing they gone bust i not sure what my dad can do they praded on my father coz he is disabled old and blind man how they get away with doing this i duno but it disgusting ughhhhhh stupid idiots mun
I have just managed to get my money refunded via a chargeback through my card issuer. That is the only way if you have been conned by these scammers
Basically, Solar Daddy do not intend to provide any services, only take payment and then ignore all communication. I quickly realised this and cancelled my contract within 14 days, and Solar Daddy refused to honour that aswell! When I raised a chargeback, the company attempted to challenge it by pretending they had sent me a letter shortening my cancellation period. Not only was that fraudulent (as they never sent such a letter) but also illegal as they have to provide 14 days for cancellation by law.
In short, these people will stoop to any level to scam people and disappear. They are now pretending to operate under the Solamama name. There is a good reason the owners were previously sentenced for fraudulent activities with ESE solar group. How they are still allowed to operate is beyond me!
Do not fall for their lies... if you see them, report them!
This company is a scam. They took £1250 of our money in November 2023 with the contract to install a home wind turbine. I've tried for over 8 months to get the job completed and then cancelled the contract 9 months ago but they just refused to respond to any correspondence. I took out a county court judgment against them and still no response. I now hear they are insolvent. Avoid them and don't trust a word they say.
Don't trust this company. we brought a health plan with them and had an inverter fitted that we had to pay for. Still think there was initially nothing wrong with original inverter, but had a new more expensive inverter that cost £1,200 put in, as they said the other one was not working properly. S olar DADDY I just found out are now, are no longer in business, and have gone into liquidation. So we lost all our money £2,300. the Solar Daddy firm have got another company round called solar mamma. Which are taking over Solar Daddy. (sounds to good to be true) to do a health check again. And they said we need something else to work with new inverter. A regulator to help convert the power into kW. Don't trust them. I am not going ahead with any more work. Please don't trust the new companyI I think they are a scam just wanting your money.
There are Solar Daddy panels installed on one of our properties. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get some idea of why they have not connected into the Electricity grid for me supplier I have phoned so many times and te response is I will get someone to call you back THEY NEVER DO!!
WE are selling the property so desperately need the answers.

About an hour ago I got a call from Peter from "Solar Energy Trust"saying my details have been passed to them from Solar Daddy. Done some research -Solar energy trust web address is actually "Solamama" and the director has the same name as a director who is supposedly no longer associated with Solar Daddy??? Buyer beware!!!

I have arranged several dates for my annual solar health check to happen in accordance with the service contract paid for. Each time someone has failed to turn up. For example we arranged for a visit between 10,00am and 2.00 pm on the 21st February. I received 3 phone calls saying that they were on their way. Nobody came!!!
I am quite used to this from this company but I still want this job doing. As I explained to the person arranging the appointment, I am suffering from terminal cancer and I want all the loose ends sorting out for my wife before I go. I have asked several times for a re-arrangement of the visit and have not even received an acknowledgement to my emails.
