They organize weekly workshops on different topics, but the underlying thread is that they all relate to social skills. From never running out of things to say, thinking fast, how to generate humor, body language, etc. The workshops are a mixture of theory with practice, and if you want you can practice what you learned in front of the others.
The people who attend the workshops come from all walks of life, and it's always fun to discover everyone's motivation to learn about the topic of the week.

I would recommend them if you want to expand and practice your social skills but were unsure of how to go about.

Their workshops are a very fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, each session tackles a different topic (how to debate effectively, how to not run out of things to talk about, how to overcome shyness, and so on). Workshops are a mix of both theory and practical learning, so you can see immediately improvements in your communication after taking applying the tips and shortcuts.

The personal coaching they offer I felt helped me land a job, after a series of failed job interviews. They were able to tailor my one-to-one sessions to suit my particular needs and requirements.The pricing was fair and reasonable.

This is a great way of learning practically, which is the best way to learn. Your taught the theory behind things and Ryan allows you to put it into practice. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking to improve themselves around people in all social settings. Especially the persuasive workshop and how to build rapport.

Social Shortcuts are a great little team that provide really useful social coaching and training, covering a variety of different skill areas. For example the weekly workshops have different themes each week, such as humour, building rapport, and conversational skills. These are interactive and fun, with plenty of practical parts, not all just listening to theory. They also have a social event afterwards where you can practice what you learnt.

The 1:1 coaching was very useful and I was given customised exercises based on my particular sticking points - such as keeping conversations playful. I would have preferred less theoretical sitting down exercises, and more practice time talking to strangers with feedback, in the time we had available. This is just a personal preference though and I think a lot of people would really benefit from these coaching sessions, which are reasonably priced compared to other similar companies.

Ryan is an easy going lad. He did and still does get involved with me improving during my social interactions. If there is anything I could write in this review is that he knows what he is doing.
