Smiths Of Harrogate Arvostelua

The whole experience, from showroom to delivery was first class, faultless! Who knew there was so much to learn about a bed!!! Excellent service, with a special thanks to Frank!

Christopher was both knowledgeable and helpful. He guided me through the process of requesting fabric swatches, confirmed my understanding of ordering and paying a deposit. Checked the estimated waiting time for my order to be delivered and ensured that I had all the information I needed to proceed with my purchase. All in all a very positive experience.

Awful experience with this business. They've supplied a sofa with one seat cushion that is clearly overstuffed, is totally out of line with all the others, doesn't fit on the base and looks ridiculous. First was told to sit on it for 2 weeks to get rid of the 'air bubbles' and now to sit on it for another 3 - 6 months to see if it settles. So just bought of the most expensive purchases I'll make only for it to look awful and not be functional as if you lay out on it your legs are several inches higher than your bum, tipping you backwards!

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome and the suggestion of much needed coffee. This was duly delivered by Paul who proceeded to be extremely knowledgeable and made our subsequent purchase (completely free of hard sell) a delightful experience. 100% recommended.

Professional and helpful sales knew their product and advised accordingly.

Excellent service from start to finish. Professional and friendly service. Very happy with my new furniture.

Good display of furniture to look at and sit on.
Pleasant and patient sales staff with no pressure. Plenty of time to choose and consider materials and take samples home.

I had a good idea of the chair I wanted, it wasn’t in stock, but I was shown several of the brand I wanted and made my choice. I was helped to choose a suitable fabric and went ahead and made the purchase. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and enjoyed the experience in Smiths.

As always a pleasure to do business with Smiths the Rink. A shopping experience like no other and some amazing sale prices on at the moment. Big thank you to Steve for guiding us through the process. This is the place to go for your furniture, you won’t regret it.

Really helpful, and you can always get through on the phone. Fantastic customer service - would recommend every time!

Professional friendly service. Frank was very informative and aided us in our decision making regarding a wardrobe, without putting pressure on us.

Great company, super friendly, non pushy staff

Smiths have now become our favourite store when looking for furniture.

Honest & reliable.

Excellent well stocked store. First class service. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable support without being pushy. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We ordered and received our Ercol dining chairs promptly. Unfortunately one of the carver chairs was damaged on arrival, the delivery team returned it to Harrogate, without question! Several of the showroom staff contacted us to reassure us of the plan for its replacement. When we were discussing this, we requested that the carver be changed to an ordinary dining chair which Smith's were happy to arrange for us. The service we have received throughout has been First Class

It's a longish story.... We recently bought an Himolla chair in Spain and were really impressed with it. When we returned to the UK we sought suppliers of Himolla. Our nearest supplier only had a very limited display and could only supply what they had on show. However I was fortunate enough to come across Smiths in Harrogate and in particular to John. He was a tremendous help and he even got Himolla to say they could, as a special, sort the same chair we had in Spain. As it turns out the displays and showroom in Harrogate was amazing and John helped with all the various models, leathers, colours, and options. We bought 2 chairs from the models on display in the showroom. John and all the staff we met were superb (excellent in fact). We cannot praise them highly enough. Colin and Gillian

Five star service from Frank and the team, our new Tempur bed delivered early, excellent delivery and bed set up for us. Five star product from Smiths, just as we had expected.

It is the first time I have ordered from this company and they were friendly, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the product I wished to purchase
After a lot of research Smiths came in at a very competitive price beating all major high street stores
I will most definitely purchase from this company again and am looking forward to visiting the shop in person

Very helpful, knowledgeable salesman

We did some research and decided one of the shops to visit was Smiths of Harrogate because of their showroom and the advertised Himolla display.
We arrived from out of area to find a massive selection of options and started to home in on the Himolla range.
Straight away we were impressed with the level of knowledge the salesman had straight off the cuff without the usual “oh let me go and check that for you”.
Chris started to chat to us and within minutes we realised he knew his stuff.
It’s the sign of a very good salesman when he hits a perfect balance between not being too pushy but sharing his knowledge.
You don’t want someone overbearing but you do want as much information as you can before during that viewing.
I seriously recommend anyone sofa hunting to pay a visit to Smiths.
It was well worth our two journeys from Middlesbrough.
Nothing was too much trouble even though we had our shoes off and made ourselves at home for around an hour on the sofa to make sure it was the right one for us.
