I have recently had the privilege of working closely with John Millichamp and his team. Throughout the process, they were consistently professional, communicative, and highly supportive. The experience was extremely positive, with all questions and concerns addressed promptly and thoroughly.

They provided excellent support at every stage, guiding me seamlessly through the journey from design to production. The entire process was smooth and well managed. I would highly recommend John and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Bought some trousers from there and wanted them exchanging for a different size and customer service replies were dragged out to the point where I am now stuck with the wrong size.

Excellent communication, good turnaround on error correction and very helpful staff members (patient/ understanding).

I recently had a frustrating experience with SMI Group that I feel compelled to share. Unfortunately, my interactions with their service have been quite disappointing.

Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. I found myself waiting far too long for responses, which was exacerbated by the lack of urgency from their customer service adviser.
Additionally, the SMI Group website is overly complicated. The navigation is not user-friendly, and the product descriptions are vague, making it difficult to understand what I was purchasing. This added to my frustration as I tried to seek assistance.
I attempted to escalate my concerns to management, hoping for some resolution or improvement, but unfortunately, it seems that my feedback fell on deaf ears, as no changes were made.
Given my experience, I cannot recommend SMI Group. The combination of slow service, unresponsive customer support, and a confusing website has left me dissatisfied. I hope they take these issues seriously and make necessary improvements in the future.

Fast and efficient service

Not a great service, web page to order is very poor and clunky to operate. E sticks sent through lose in bag, not in any protective packaging arriving damaged, lucky the items were the incorrect items sent through, so they can have them back. long way to go to make this work.

Great to work with such a pro-active company, who bring many safety and supply solutions together in to one place!

Working with SMI on their carbon footprint has been a real pleasure. It’s been amazing to see how ambitious they are with their sustainability strategy, especially in helping their suppliers on their journey too. They’ve achieved so much over the past few years, and they’re always such a lovely team to work with!

It was really good to work with SMI on their Everyday Earth catalogue and to attend their recent ESG event, it was inciteful and motivating to spend the day with other ESG professionals

Now I've given you this score because I sent an order in July, I got and order acceptance late August/Early september. Then had request for payment notifications before the items had even been delivered!!
I cannot say how long it takes for ordered to leave our company, Affinity Water, but I would expect non logoed items to be delivered within a week, not 2 months. Some of these items are little value now until next year as they were for light weight summer clothing which appears to have now passed

Delivery time 3 weeks from receiving the PO. When chased had no record of the order.

process took far to long usually takes one day to order this took nearly 3 weeks think it would be better to have direct email address for the factory in Scotland still not received our products.

Due to much confusion with the delivery company my order had been delivered to the wrong place 4 times over this week. I contacted the SMI sales team for help. The goods I ordered were with me 3 hours later. Excellent service and excellent PPE.

From start to finish smi have delivered on every promise. Service was fantastic, delivery was on time and the final product was streets ahead of the competition. We will be using them exclusively from now on.

I am kept up-to-date on new products and info on current products.

Excellent customer service and professionalism which is very capable of providing all demands and expectations to its customers. The go extra mile attitude which enables clients to purchase non catalogue items as the excellent sales executives will source and supply the goods as required. Very good supplier of workplace products and everything you may need for your business.

Chichester Council use SMI on a regular basis as they are reliable, friendly and have good communication skills, they are also great in speedy deliveries
