Nick the engineer knew exactly what he was doing and had the Tado system installed and working in no time at all, cannot rate the service more than five stars but you could not ask for anything better!

As a customer, I believe you find out how good a business really is by how they react when things go wrong. Smarthomehero were at my home to do a “simple” swap-out of an end of life nest thermostat for a Tado system. It turned out to be anything but simple, as the engineer Connor unearthed a non-standard wiring scheme and evidence of a previously bodged installation . By the time this became evident, it was not possible for him to revert back to the nest. The stakes were high ( no heating or hot water in freezing conditions) and the pressure was on. Connor calmly went about diagnosing the issue, showing persistence to resolve it and called upon support when needed. What should have taken a couple of hours dragged on for two days. At all times I was kept informed about progress and assured that the issue would be resolved, which it was. There was also regular contact from management to ensure I was happy.
I cannot fault the level of service, professionalism and customer focus shown by this company, which is rare to see these days. A very smart choice by Tado to trust this company with their reputation.

Smarthomehero service was simply first class. The 2 engineers arrived at 12pm on the dot, they were real experts and were so nice. They installed my Tado system very professionally and took the time to explain how it all works. It’s rare to find trades that professional, on time, and nice people these days! I highly recommend smarthomehero and will use their service again in the future if needed. Thanks again!
