After a problamatic start with the Alpha Inverter/Battery failing it was the assistance from Smart Energy staff that enabled a satisfactory result. The system is working well and generating solar energy for daily use and to charge the Battery which is saving money. Being retired is enabling us to run high use appliances in the day, taking advantage of the solar power generated. I tell people how good the system is and recommend they look at getting a solar system. Possibly even with more solar panels (10) and Battery (5kW).

Mark explained that we only needed an additional battery, not additional solar panels. And this has been the case, our 2 batteries have been fully charging every day.

Have been impressed with the customer service I’ve received from Smart Energy over the last 18months. I receive regular calls to check that my system is meeting my household energy needs and that I’m getting the best from my energy provider. All team members I have spoken with that been polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Thanks Smart Energy!

Very disappointing. Mia attended my property. I was interested in having someone attend to review the solar panels, my fully electric car and the electricity bill. She was adequate but had to give me her details on a piece of paper she ripped out of a note book. The next day she started sending me text messages questioning me and reminding me about things we discussed. Very rude and unappreciated. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars with a company, you expect a little more professionalism. Appointment cancelled.

Had our battery installed in September 2025, sales person was great, and it was a fast turnaround time between accepting the quote and installation.

Unfortunately, the follow up and aftercare are nonexistent! Their customer service support is terrible, we had better luck using Chat GPT to resolve our issue. We reported the same problem four times to the customer service team and were sent the same generic email instructions each time, despite advising we had already followed the process, without success.

The team were great and answered any questions I had. I have been saving on my power bills it won't take long for them to pay for themselves.

From the first initial contact with the saleman to the technican assigned to install the batter system everything went very smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the service.

From our first telephone call to Smart Energy to enquire about the Rinnai Heat Pump we found it a pleasure discussing it with the staff there, especially Bailey Newbury who,after we decided to go ahead with the purchase, organised the necessary paperwork and took us through it step by step, answering all our questions resulting in a very quick turnaround with it being installed just a few weeks later, followed up by Bailey checking to see how the installation went. So, thank you Bailey for all your help. As for the Heat Pump, it’s certainly working well doing all that’s expected of it.

Matt was on time and friendly - he also gave me an understanding of the product and services he was able to offer but really made sure it was what was required by me and my circumstances. He had such a genuine manner and obviously was very experienced and offered me information and peace of mind when it came to making a decision on the product/service required. Smart Energy is very reliable, they even look after you after the sale and installation. Their staff is polite , they know their product and Smart Energy should be proud of them be beause it reflects on the quality of their product.
