Very Long Call , All Personal Sensitive Information Taken - They could not help at the end ! I disclose all my data for no reason as this was the only way I could ask question! Totally Unacceptable!

Absolutely useless, have been signed up to the car finance claim group for over 18 months, now they've decided to drop my claim because they can't find the agreement - they haven't checked any details with me or asked for additional information - I've got everything they need, but they'd rather waste my time by just dropping the claim - absolute joke

I have replied to their request for further details and emailed them to try and resolve the issue - but it still stands that they've closed a genuine case without checking their information. I'm fairly confident I know where the issue has occurred, but they don't like to check details just close the case that they've had open for 18 months with no warning.
Will update if there's a reply from the email, but still think it's ridiculous that a legal firm can't get their facts right when they've been given the details - and that's enough for me to want to avoid them - if they can make mistakes like that what happens if you give them a complex case??

Edit - I've received a response from Slater and Gordon - WOW, a generic reply that's not addressed to anyone in particular, literally looks like a copy and paste/send to all message.

In short their response was there is nothing we can do, sign up with someone else and begin your claim again.

If anything their response has lowered my opinion of them, which is impressive given they were good enough for 1* to begin with. It's obvious that they don't care about their clients, they are happy just using class action cases where they don't actually have to speak to clients and first difficulty then they drop the client.

I gave them a chance to make things right - and would have improved their score if they would have done so - however their response was completely inadequate

Final edit - I replied to their generic email, stating that my claim is genuine and that I have all the relevant details.
Their response is that they cannot add details and that they only close claims "in the best interests of their clients" - not sure how it's in my best interests to close the claim and tell me to sign up again.
If I can sign up again then there is obviously a claim to make, but they can't be bothered to actually pick the phone up and check details.

However in the meantime I've found that Martin Lewis provides all the details needed to easily submit a claim yourself and therefore save me the commission, so I'll take that as the compensation for dealing with the bunch of cowboys that are Slater and Gordon - 100% would not recommend

So far this company has been very helpful in responding to my queries regarding my car finance claim.

My experience with Slater and Gordon is very good. They were very professional. Once I had my senior litigator (P.H.) allocated to me, she was easy to reach and communicated all necessary progress swiftly with me. Would recommend. They work hard to get you satisfactory settlement. Bare in mind sometimes it does take time to complete the whole process.

Great service from start to the finish. I was very happy with the service they provide. And would highly recommend to any one.

The information I received from Georgina was precise and delivered in a way I could understand this is a very vulnerable time in someone’s life however the information is vital to ensure you make decisions that can affect your future
