After many quotes for a roof lantern blind , which are ludicrous in price I found skylight blinds direct .
After sending my measurements , my blind was made to measure , solar driven power and a wall remote and delivered in a quick turnaround
We had it fitted by our local handy man , and it’s perfect.
I would highly recommend the company for both its customer service and swift service ,overall my blind is in place for 1/2 the price installation companies quoted
It’s a perfect addition to our room and decor .

Excellent quality and service

Absolutely delighted with the two skylight blinds I purchased for my kitchen and office area. The quality is excellent, they look fantastic and fit perfectly, really finishing off both rooms.

They have made a noticeable difference to the amount of light and heat coming through the skylights, while still looking stylish and neat. The blinds feel very well made and were exactly what I was hoping for.

The whole purchasing process was straightforward, and I’m extremely pleased with the finished result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality skylight blinds.

Such an easy assembly and installation. It has made a big difference in our kitchen as it was to cover our lantern light. It kept the sunshine and heat out brilliantly!

Found it one of the best prices for a manual roof lantern horizontal blind. Ease of website with how to measure accurately, choose fabric and colour. Quick dispatch, easy to assemble and does work well.
The cost, I feel, is quite expensive for what it is, blind feels like paper that is folded into a concertina, the frame is aluminum and plastic.
Does it's job effectively but very over priced.

All good. From advice to product the experience was very good. Blinds fitted well in our customised arrangement, function well and delivery was as stated.
One small niggle the push/pull pole feels a little weak at full stretch.
But all in all a very satisfying experience dealing with Skylight Blinds Direct.

I gave 5 Stars as 'at the end of the day' the product looks good and has proved beneficial in reducing the high temperatures this year in our Orangery and combined with a separate Radiator move also look forward to a warmer Winter.
However, getting there was challenging as our Lantern Blind was 2x3m and assembling such a large fragile frame (which could be easily damaged until in situ) needed careful planning, at least two people and Ladders, and hoping the measurements were correct!...and even more complicated if you want a discreet mains power cable installed!
Furthermore we did have lots of questions about selecting the right options prior to Order time and also having found find a fabric fault after installation, I did find the Support Team to be very positive and helpful and all issues were resolved.
So, overall, this was a worthwhile, and so far, beneficial project.

The customer service was amazing! They always responded promptly to any queries I had and were very helpful and reassuring when it came to the measuring and fitting that I was going to have to do; I had never done anything like this before. When the blinds arrived the instructions were clear and easy to follow and the blinds fitted perfectly. The blinds were a gift for my son and he is delighted with the difference they make, they have cooled his loft room even in the intense heat we have had this year and he has been able to sleep comfortably.

From start to finish a very good service, customer services were very helpful in how to measure and what type of blind would suit my window space, looks good motor is quiet and efficient takes a while to put together following video but all in all very satisfied.

A review is, essentially, made of two halves. There's the product itself and the customer service. On both counts they deserve 5 stars. There was a glitch with the delivery, as part of the framework was damaged in transit and whilst the blind itself took over two weeks to be delivered, the replacement parts (after contacting Naomi via email) took less than a week to arrive. Assembly was a piece of cake and, whilst it was a two man job to fit into place, the blind was in place in about an hour. I must admit to being daunted by the video of how to assemble and fit, but in reality, I did not need most of the instructions, as it's almost self explanatory. It's of top quality and it really has made a difference in our kitchen. And, when fitted versions of the same thing were coming in at around £3000, ours, at well under £1000 was excellent value for money. Good product, good price, good customer service - what's not to like!

The blinds were so easy to install. They came already set up so all we had to do was fit them into the skylight frame. They fit really well and look great. They have really made a difference during this hot weather.

I found this company to be both very helpful and efficient in the way they conduct their business. The quality of their product is excellent and they provide very accurate and easy to understand instructions for their product.

Steve and Naomi have both been very helpful in the process of selecting a blind for our lantern . Right from the beginning i have felt that we made the right choice in purchasing from Skylight Blinds Direct .
Our lantern is 4.1 x 1.2 metres - a biggy indeed. Our only option at this size was a dual manual blind. We are very happy with this , as it is easy to open and shut with the supplied pole - and there are less complications .
I will be honest - at the this size of lantern it is not the easiest of DIY jobs assembling and fitting the blind. But nor was it too difficult as i consider myself a competent DIY-er. I used a laser measure to get the required measurements of the lantern "well size" .
When it came to fitting the assembled blind unit it was definitely a two man job to get it in place . I used some partly drilled in screws to hold the whole unit up in the well temporarily, as i worked out the exact locations for the fixings in the plasterboard . i used special plasterboard fittings to finally secure the side rails in place.
We are very pleased with the end result . And it is definitely keeping a lot more heat out of our kitchen than before we fitted it.

Initially I was concerned about measuring myself and fitting, after speaking on the phone, discussing options and having the benefit of a lot of experience and advice, I measured and ordered.
I was also concerned about fitting, I arranged a friend to help, once we started fitting took a total of less than an hour.
I am pleased with the product quality, how easy it was to install and the price.
