As so many people have already said it was a con.
Line up changed at the last minute to country music- we accepted that as we were expecting lots of activities for the children -Bluey and Bingo family party, foam party, Big top circus, bumblebee transformer, circus workshops to name a few. Also said there was an inflatable theme park amongst the included things, but actually that was extra.
Very high prices on food, drink and other fairground rides.
None of the staff knew what was happening, or the reason things weren’t on. Heard a rumour “they were stuck in traffic” or “they are coming”. There was no information at all.
My daughter went to find help for a person who had collapsed and there was no clearly signed Fist Aid/ help post- she had to run round asking.
A very disappointing rip off.
I sent an email to the organisers while there to ask what was going on- obviously still no reply!

Glorified funfair! Be prepared to spend a lot of money on top of your ticket to get in. It’s an unshaded field with loads of overpriced food, drinks and rides. They tell you you’re not allowed to bring your own food in but not one person checked anything we brought in they didn’t even check our tickets properly so you could easily screenshot your friend tickets. We stayed for about an hour and a half which was massively forced because we had hyped our kids up for months for this. I definitely don’t recommend but if you’re reading this after you’ve booked bring whatever you can to entertain yourself and your kids because they won’t check anyway. Also the 2 separate country acts we briefly watched sang the same songs which probably wasn’t their fault as it was just really poorly put together.

Not what was advertised at all! Firstly, we booked what was supposed to be a music festival with pop music tributes and activities for kids, along with the hot air balloons.

A few days before the event, we’re told that actually this is now a country music festival (?!) and the long awaited schedule goes up.

We get there mid afternoon to find that none of the advertised kids things were there. They’d apparently ‘broken down’ on the way there, but looks like this has happened more than once (allegedly this company used to run an event called Balloons and Tunes pulling the same stunt).

£15 to go on some bouncy castles, between £5-10 PER PERSON on each of the rides.

Oh and to top it all off, we just walked in past the non existent security who didn’t check our tickets or anyone’s bags making it an absolute nightmare security risk.

This whole company needs to be shut down for fraud!

Awful, not as advertised. No characters walking around, music was country only. Extreme sports display was a joke a motorbike and bike that did about 4 tricks each. Well Over priced drinks and food. Sky glow event consisted of 3 hot air balloons 2 penguins and a mouse. They did not go up in a musical Display, were up at 6:30 and down when we left at 7:40! There was no foam party/
Disco for the kids. It must have happened before we arrived but there is no schedule offered to know this. Some rides were £10! To ride a bull and go around a field in the back of a ‘monster truck’ with up to 20 ppl. It wasn’t overly busy for a festival and I’ve been to plenty. There is no way a family can spend 10 hours there without remortgaging the their homes.. Very badly advertised as a festival .it was indeed a fair ground and the only way to stay is to spend extortionate money you’ve spent a whole month earning. Spent over £150 in less than 2 hours, to not disappoint the 2 kids and they only went on 3 rides!. Rest was food and drinks. Theme parks/ piers are a much better deal. Plus we bought early bird and pockets at reduced price to find they were selling them at less than half of what we paid, atleast a few days before due to being undersold. Will never go again.. SCAMMERS!! Avoid and use your hard earned money on something else.. just to add all the country music loving folk may rave the music and line dancing all day.

Scam!!!!! Do not bother attending this event. If you into a stage with extremely overpriced alcoholic drinks and drunk people fighting then go! There is nothing for children as advertised except a £ 6 hook a duck stand.
Tried to complain on social media account and they remove my comments. Left with children very dissatisfied and crying!

I was really disappointed with my experience at the festival. The website said there would be activities for kids, but when I arrived, there were hardly any, which was really frustrating and misleading. On top of that, almost everything was extremely overpriced, so I didn’t feel like I got good value for my money. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the lemonade, which was really good. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed because the festival didn’t live up to what was advertised. SCAM!!!!!! (If I could put 0 stars then I would!)

Unfortunately 1 stars is the most they'll allow but a -10 would nearer the mark . Absolutely shambles of a day ,was just a massively over priced mediocre fun fair , 16 quid for 2 cans of warm beer , 8 quid to ride bumbercars plus 8 quid for passenger littlens enjoyed the bouncy castles untill the staff aloud them to be swarmed and became more of a danger than anything . Hardly anything there that was promised for the kids. And the security blew my mind , unprofessional and rude and to top it off nearly had a full blow up with one just to get my kids past the gate to leave . Very disappointing , never never never would I return , nor would I recommend, we spent nearly 250 quid in a matter of hours as there were 7 of us . If I could advise anyone it would be to save ya time petrol and money as this was no where near worth it .

What an absolute shambles this was today and blimming expensive too!! Firstly, the security need actual training as this was obvious that they had no clue how to do their jobs or where anything was. I asked one security guy if he knew where Bluey was supposed to be, and he firstly pointed me toward the toilets and then I had to explain that Bluey was a Character...not a blue toilet!!! He had absolutely no clue what I was going on about...another security lied and said that Bluey and Bumblebee would be coming out by the side of the stage...obviously a complete lie as they weren't even there to begin with...nothing on for the kids that was promised...no bluey, no circus acts, no disco, no foam party, no kids tent at all!! Then you have the price of the rides and the food....absolutely extortionate prices...as a family of 4...we have easily spent almost £200 today and thats with cutting back as we were able to sneak some food and drinks in...although if id have known that the security wouldn't have checked our trolley (which they didnt) id have taken a full coolbox.
The one saving grace was one of the food vans that charged £5 for refillable drinks with a wristband, absolute legends for this, especially on such a hot day! Thank you!! To the chicken van that tried to charge me £8 for a chicken burger that was literally just a bun and a piece of chicken in...sort it out! No way was i paying for that!
Music was ok but definitely wasnt a festival.
Dont waste your time or money on going to this, I wish we'd have spent the day at a theme park...before booking anything advertised like this again, I will definitely be checking the reviews and so gutted that I didnt this time!

If I could give this a zero i would! What an absolute joke! We was suppose to have circus tricks,bluey and bingo,bumblebee transformer, and everything only thing they had was the bike stunt, ride on a monster truck which was expensive and singing on stage and rides which was absolutely over priced and disappointed children and when asking lots of different security on where these acts are that are suppose to be advertising they had no clue themselves and see something on Facebook that the sky glow said their lorry is broken down apparently but reading all these reviews its basically the same story that Ive experienced today! Staff was so rude and they didn't even check or touch our bags when searching before coming in absolute scam! Will never be going back again! Spend 180 just on 3 or 4 rides and food thats it!!

I had booked at a cheap price before reaidng reviews. I went with low expectations.
The week before the event they emailed a schedule for the day - none of the included activities went ahead other than there was live music.
The bouncy castle park was good but this was an added extra i booked at the time. Tickets are not scanned so may as well only buy one and share the picture with others going.
The email said no outside food allowed and only sealed water bottles - this was not the case at all as people took their own food and drink in.
This would best be described as an expensive fun fair with some live music playing.
If they were honest about what it was, theu would sell tickets but to a diffwrent group of people. This is not a family day out unless you want to spend a fortune. Rides start at £3 each, monster truck was £10 each, ice creams £3 upwards, bottled water and cans £3. A wristband for funfair rides would be better.
We doubted whether any hot air balloons wpuld even turn up but they did set a couple out around 5pm. We left early so did not see any light show if that even went ahead - it was not worth the gamble given so much else didn't happen.

I promised my little girl a day of fun, face painting and meeting bumblebee/Bluey & Bingo only to find that none of these were here (as well as a lot of other parents wandering aimlessly to find this for their children) even though it was advertised in an email I received a few days before the event! Tickets weren’t even checked at the entrance and to find that a 30 second ride cost £4 was ridiculous! Everything was overpriced inside! Also to find that this festival is advertised under two different names (sky glow & this ain’t Texas) just seems like a big scam to me! Seems very unorganised and the areas that they had advertised like a big top circus/ ballon area were simply non existent! Definitely won’t be recommending this for anyone with toddlers unless you want to spend a fortune in n all the rides as advertised times slots for things just seem like a big lie!

Don’t even bother, went to plumton racecourse today, the staff where rude, the prices of all extra things are ridiculously over priced and lots of things they advertised where not there. Safe to say we will never be returning! Could have spent £300 on a decent day out rather than an over priced fair.

The Sky Glow Festival was a total scam. Despite decent musical performances, the sound quality was abysmal. Furthermore, promised children’s activities were missing, and the remaining attractions were outrageously overpriced. Save your money and spend the day in Margate instead.

Early bird tickets were far more expensive than the on the day prices available online.

Children's entertainment was missing completely, no Bluey and Bingo, no face painting. Dodgems were £16 per car for two people!

The bouncy castle area which we pre booked for £13 was great until one of the slides collapsed with children stuck inside at the top.

A complete lack of any information or staff to ask about events.

Overall a complete waste of time and money. We left early but doubt there were any hot air balloons as at 430pm there was no sign of any being setup or even arriving to setup.

Absolutely dreadful! Went today expecting a ‘festival’ it was a fair.. An extortionate fair! £8 for bumper cars, £5 hook a duck.
The ‘upgrade’ for the bouncy castles which weren’t even set up when we arrived. Only positive was the bike stunt show and even that didn’t last long. False advertising. I wish I had checked the reviews before because I would not have booked!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Absolute scam company - went to event in West Sussex - didn’t have anything as advertised and even at the end had no balloons claiming it was too windy yet didn’t inform anyone earlier in evening wouldn’t be going ahead.
Made a complaint to them via their email which they completely ignored and no refund. They have since blocked everyone’s negative comments on social media . Absolute scam !! Do not recommend wasting your money on any of their events !! When we got to the event food prices were ridiculous along with then having to pay for rides min. £5 per ride despite them not actually having anything available for kids they advertised !

Utter Scam! DO NOT ATTENED!

Worst festival I have ever been to. Went to the festival at Belvoir — it was appaling.

First, they search you at the entrance, as you're not allowed to take ANY food, or drinks unless it's water.

The reason they do this? Likely just to get money. It is extremely expensive here, considering the cheapness of the regular tickets.

£5 for icecream, £5-6 for the fairground rides (PER PERSON), £8 for a lager, £13 FOR A SMALL PORTION OF CHIPS WITH TOPPINGS.

But worse? The free entertainment was a waste. There were barely any bikes as advertised, as that part of the festival was reduced. £10 for 1 truck ride turned to £10 for UNLIMITED truck rides until 8pm, it was over by the time I found out about the offer

The kids tent had almost nothing in it, just a Bluey photoshoot for a short while, some toys and a foam party later on.

And the advertised air balloons? Only 3 were set off (one of which was a test ride and was only up for 5 minutes at best) due to the windy weather, which I understand, but it was mild wind.
We thought the air balloons were nearly cancelled!

And the live music... Not only were there long intermissions between acts, but the acts lineup was very different! The Ed Sheeran tribute act that was extremely advertised wasn't even there, so that wasn't great.

For an experience we were looking forward to, it was extremely disappointing. Will not return next year. Please DO not go here! You will thank yourself for not doing so!

We attended the Belvoir Castle Event in Lincolnshire. Firstly it is not a festival, just a funfair and as such is false advertising.
The cost of a burger was £13 & a can of pop £5 absolute day light robbery. Shocking that you cannot take a picnic in.
The cover bands, where do I start....Ed Sheran didn't show, Texas, out of tune, busted, well appalling, so bad!!!!
Honestly do not waste your money! Utter con !

Awful experience. Half the event was fair rides £5 a go, the other half was over priced food. Average cost was £12 a burger.
Stayed 2 hours, kids and adults were gutted!
