Skinners Sheds Arvostelua

I have brought Skinner sheds before and highly recommend them. The last for years and are well built and of good quality. Quick delivery and build. Would highly recommend

Quick efficient service. First a survey to check garden and position was ok, then a concrete base fitted and the shed the following week. All very smooth and quick to install. Very pleased with the new robust potting shed

Helpful and cheerful sales person who carefully talked through all the options. Shed delivered and constructed on time by friendly team. Could not fault any part of the service from Skinners Sheds.

Very easy process buying/ordering. Delivery and fitting all went well too. Very pleased with our summerhouse

The structure is really solid , good quality and as a small summerhouse, very attractive.
I was amazed at how quickly it was erected. The two operatives were extremly efficient and cheerful and cleaned up perfectly.
To be highly recommended.

I am extremely pleased with my Skinners shed.
I researched many other options but realized Skinners were far better quality and sturdier.
I was impressed by the skill and efficiency of the team delivering and installing the Potting Shed in April 2025.

Fitting was easy and quick. Guys were unloading by nine and gone before noon and they were fine with the base. Ordering the shed was a little overcomplicated but sales staff were responsive and patient. Posh paint upgrades it dramatically appearance wise and hopefully weather proofs it too. Vents currently keeping it at sauna temperature rather than oven.

I couldn't be happier with my new shed from Skinner Sheds – it's a solid 5-star experience from start to finish! From the very first contact, their service was incredibly easy and comprehensive, making the whole process feel completely reassuring.

The quality of the shed itself is truly outstanding; you can immediately tell it's built to last. What really impressed me, though, were the guys who came to install it. They were highly professional, efficient, and clearly knew their stuff. The installation was seamless, and their expertise left me feeling very confident.

While it was a little more expensive than some other options I looked at, the superior quality and the peace of mind from such excellent service make it exceptionally good value. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Skinner Sheds to anyone looking for a top-quality product and a hassle-free experience. I absolutely love my new shed!

Good product constructed by expert fitters. Have used Skinners before and will use them again

We are delighted with our new shed. The men who erected it were so efficient and helpful. An excellent company with great customer service.

Great quality, robust shed. Installers were friendly and professional, checking on certain aspects of the installation to ensure everything was done the way I wanted.

From ordering to installation the process was seamless with appropriate communications. Our summerhouse was delivered and constructed on the day specified by the three Skinner’s employees in the area of the garden specified. Once the work was complete, I was asked to inspect the work and given advice re: proofing. Delighted with the product.

I had a 8 by 8 apex base and shed erected. The work was completed on time and we are very pleased with the result.

4th shed I’ve had from Skinners. Really good quality as before. Delivered on time Good service. Will buy again

Good Quality shed / Cabin, good fitters on both occasions, good advice given on the after care

Very disappointed with the quality of the Skinners Sheds (Canterbury) summer house we bought recently and their total lack of customer service.
Our experience means that we will never use this company again and if you would like quality and customer care, think twice. I keep reading their website regarding quality of materials and workmanship and none of that was true in our experience.
The joints of the timbers look like they have been sawn with a blunt saw, none of the joints actually fit properly together, nails were protruding inside the summer house, and the screws are put in at an angle so the heads stick out, causing cuts if you brush down them with your hands or your arms scrape them.
Parts of the summer house are put together with 2/3 bits of odd wood instead of 1 and most look like off-cuts as they are very rough. The workmen even had a major problem getting the door to fit as it was badly made.
On speaking to the salesman in Canterbury, because I could not find a telephone number for customer services, I was told to go online and input the information with photos which I did. I also sent the photos to the salesman as I did not know if they had gone through. All I got back from ‘customer service’ was an email saying a recall team would be out. I had no idea whether this meant they were taking it away or replacing it. I sent another email asking what this meant and had no response from customers services. Apparently, you cannot talk to an actual person.
After more attempts to call the salesman, I finally got hold of a salesman in Ashford who said he would get the Canterbury salesman to ring me. On finally receiving a call back from the Canterbury salesman he explained there would be workmen arriving who would see what could be done.
During the conversation the salesman used phrases such as ‘if I were being pedantic I could pick out things wrong in my office’ (the shed at the site he works from). I assured him I was not being pedantic and the photos showed this. He also said ‘it’s just a shed’ and if I wanted a higher quality I would have had to pay a lot more!…
I gave up and waited for the workmen to return to find out what was going to happen to our summerhouse which was clearly looked on by the company as ‘just a shed’ now. Even if we had wanted it for just a shed, I would not have expected the quality of workmanship and materials. We have a shed in our garden which whilst older is much better quality.
The workman who had carried out the summer house erection came with a new person and asked what was wrong. He then proceeded to say that it was not his work at fault. I showed him the areas needing work and he also said ‘it’s just a shed’ but removed the nails etc sticking out and sanded a couple of the worst areas. He then handed the sandpaper to my partner as he left.
All we wanted was a nice little summer house to enjoy for the summer. My partner could have done a much better job for a few hundred pounds but we thought we would get a professional company in, spend a few thousand and make it a proper summer house and just do the painting ourselves. We are now having to sand down every angle and fix every crooked screw and infill bits of missing wood before we can even start to paint it.
As well as that I thought we had bought a nice little summer house according to the description on the site example and on talking to the salesman at point of sale but now our dream little summer house is apparently ‘just a shed’.

Professional service helpful and polite fitters. Delighted with product and would recommend.

purchased two skinner sheds, one for ourselves and one for daughter. pleased with the quality and the two same fitters done a good job. The daughters was an ex display shed, in hind sight should have purchased as new. Had to make a few repairs but still happy.

Great sales service and advice and efficient erection of shed by friendly team!
