Hello Everyone,
I'm Carrie. I purchased Skill-Up Prime on 5/11/2025. So far, I have taken two courses. The Certified Digital Foresnics course was really intense for someone not familiar with the terminology that is very thorough. The course is jam packed with information that was overwhelming, but I can always rewatch the videos for review. My next course was a refresher that will serve as evidence in both state and federal procedural complaints, which was the fashion law online course. The fashion law online course was not long and my previous retail and fashion merchandising course in high school helped with the quiz questions. Skill-Up so far offers the most for it's value and the Certified Digital Foresnics course might be compatible to a college course in the United States. I encountered some technical difficulties with the completion of one course, but they were able to resolve the issue. Company communication, I do receive responses on every email at their earliest convienence.

Overall, it's a great platform.

Appalling quality all round
I have been trying to take advantage of their "discount" offers for a month now, but I can't get any sense out of them. My options seemed to be to either pay £399 for a single course, or £99 for a year's worth of access to ALL of their courses, including certification. As that didn't make much sense to me, I decided to contact them.
Responses from customer care have been slow (over two weeks) and largely incoherent and incomprehensible. This was partly because they deliberately ignored questions or answered them so vaguely that their words meant nothing, and partly due to the poor standard of English of the staff responsible.
Here are some examples cut-and-pasted from our conversation:
"Yearly subscription only for 1 year not include any certificate and lifetime package course access lifetime with unlimited pdf certificates"
"If you need your certificate, you can email us. Our customer support team provides you with a course certificate after you can complete your course."
"Enrol that course, our maximum in-house course is this type. Some course material has a real instructor base video course."
"Yes some of course we hire an assessor, and some of AI voice and some have professional instructors who are fluent and native in English and expertise their own field."
And my personal favourite:
I asked, "How do you carry out your testing?"
Their answer: "We support by online."
All and still, as they were offering a free trial course (digital marketing), I signed up. What I found is unsurprising given the issues detailed above. The course consists of a video of written slides. An extremely mechanical AI voice reads out *different* content on the same subject, while a repetitive piano tune plays in the background, silent movie-style. There is no option to just read the text - no captions, no transcripts. This is likely to be excruciatingly annoying for most students and an impassable barrier for anyone who needs to be able to read the text of the lectures. The quality of the content is also extremely poor (I suspect AI was involved), but that's almost an aside. The delivery is so excruciatingly bad that even the best content would suffer.
Edit: Skill Up response to my review was to flag it as "harmful or illegal content." That action speaks for itself.

First, the reviewer did not purchase any paid course or subscription. They enrolled only in a free trial course, which is clearly labelled as a sample learning experience and not representative of our full premium course library, instructor-led programmes, or certification structure.
Second, the reviewer repeatedly compares pricing options without completing or understanding the product descriptions, all of which are publicly explained on our website and clarified upon request. Discounted annual access, lifetime access, and certification pathways are separate offerings, and thousands of learners have enrolled without confusion.
Third, it is misleading to criticise certification quality, assessment methods, or instructor standards when no paid course, assessment, or certification was ever attempted by the reviewer.
Regarding support: while we acknowledge occasional response delays during peak periods, the claim that our team is “incoherent” or “deliberately evasive” is both unsubstantiated and unfair, especially considering the reviewer continued engaging without making a purchase or formally enrolling.
Finally, flagging the review was not an attempt to silence criticism, but a response to content that misrepresents a paid service using a free trial experience, which violates review platform fairness guidelines.
We welcome genuine, good-faith feedback from enrolled learners, and we stand by the value we deliver to our global student community.
