Sketchy has saved me in PA school! It has transformed my grades and has cut down my studying time. I reccomended Sketchy to my academic advisor and she is going to start reccomending it to other students as well

I watched all the Sketchy MCAT videos. I could barely retain anything. Too many symbols in one sketch with poor memory hooks. I did like the carbohydrates sketch and the light spectrum sketch, but honestly, everything else was useless. I really hoped their physics sketches would help me remember the equations better, but it didn’t. Their amino acids video had all the amino acids crammed in one sketch, I’m not sure how anyone could recall the properties or where anything is. I like how its competitor that shall not be named, has a separate sketch for each amino acid. Don’t even get me started on the Anki deck that’s beyond useless. It doesn’t have any of the visual hooks. What’s the point? No one has time to go back and rewatch a video. I just want to retain the information and the visual. Especially if I am on the go. It’s obvious this company is trying to expand with poor planning. Maybe take a step back, research effective teaching and psychology of learning, and innovate, instead of trying to milk every penny and cut corners.

Sketchy makes great videos that help me remember complicated topics. The visuals combined with voice-over are extremely helpful!

This company started off well but now they are redoing all their sketches to include nonsensical terms like cisgender female and their pricing is so high it should be illegal. I am not giving you so much money to watch you remake a perfectly good sketch to include woke non-medical no - sensical ideology. Like Disney, I hope you go out of business.

I encountered several problems with Sketchy: it failed to deliver what was advertised, the app is very slow, the illustrations have poor quality and questionable artistic taste, and I was charged $2 once I activated the free trial. I feel scammed.

I have been using Sketchy for all of my first year of medical school and it has been instrumental in me passing all my exams. Recently, they have made a massive update that removed access to its thousands-of-questions-sized Q-bank. They took this away from its PAYING members. Massive downgrade. Half of what made sketchy good was the videos and the ability to create your own exams from the Q-bank after watching them. I 100% know sketchy will not be as valuable as a resource to me in the next year of my school because of this. Just stick to AMBOSS and save your money.

Absolutely unprofessional and appalling delivery or Non delivery of what was sold. Sktchy sold an art course. The videos did not load on their platform. Their platform is hosted on Mighty Networks. If this had been disclosed prior to purchase I would not have purchased knowing the problems with this unprofessional platform. Not only do the videos not play in their platform, so many people must of had the same problem that they provide a link directing you to YouTube if there are playback problems. Amongst others trying to watch via YouTube only the top half of screen is visible. A course on portraits and you see nothing below the nose. I never have a problem with YouTube or the artists video I was watching except via sktchy. First video in and even their class ocerview/welcome doesn't play. Confirmed not a connection problem. First hour in new course that doesn't work. Asked for a refund instead of providing refund was treated as if lying. Do not provide Sktchy your money. I was gobsmacked to see all the poor reviews especiallyon reddit. I wish I had seen them sooner. Unprofessional platform, poor customer service.

So it is a good resource la but honestly not for asian as our income is already not as high as west and honestly people can spend 400 dollar anywhere else too than sketchy as the questions are quite ok but the videos are pretty good especially for micro and pharma

Overall a great resource. Did it for my weakest subject (Microbiology) for the Step 1 exam. My exam has been long over but I still haven't forgotten the sketches. The sketches have been prepared well to cover the topics and they stick well.

Be VERY careful! Without your consent or knowledge, sketchy will charge your credit card once you buy their product on an "auto-renewal" - no refunds! I got this for my daughter two years ago - no problems. Just got it for her again last year. I just got charged, but I did NOT authorize the charge - too bad was the answer I received. They have my money; I have nothing. NOT HAPPY!

The service after buying is very inconvenient .
There is a problem with the website for two days.
I cannot log in to my account for two days.
I have sent two e-mails for the customer support and got no reply.

Being a visual learner sketchy made my learning much more interesting and easy. I could memorize concepts easily.
Excited for the remaining videos.

Sketchy is one of the most detailed study materials you could ever use for the exam. It is as though, Sketchy medicals was prepared using the qbank of the USMLE.

Sketchy helped me in grasping and remembering difficult topics which I failed to do in my whole graduation years.Sketchy is not about memorizing concepts only but understanding them.I would keep sketchy above BnB and Pathoma for ptahology.

Sketchy is one of the best tools I have found in medical school for memorizing large amount of information. It is an innovative and creative solution to the problem of information overload.
