simply swim Arvostelua 

I ordered a costume and a swim cap. The costume's back was too low (tricky to see on the website photos) and I returned it. The returns process was unclear on the website and I apparently chose an expensive option to return and reorder a different costume based on the website advice.
Mayu from customer services explained the process more clearly in response to a query - but it was too late by then as I had reordered.
Good merchandise, quick delivery, but website information could be improved!

I purchased flippers. Unwearable but made the mistake of trying them out in pool. They are in pristine condition. One single try for 2 minutes and I knew I could never wear them again. Sought customer service advice re return and was told if they had been in water then non returnable. I can't even give them to charity shop as someone would pay to buy them and they are terrible! Company said if I sent them back without all original labels then they would refuse refund and wait for me to send postage before they would send them back to me . As if I would want them back! They said instead they would be forced to destroy them (ie they wouldn't stick a new label o n and resell). They are pristine but to try flippers in a pool you have to take cardboard label off. My mistake was thinking they might possibly be more comfortable in the pool. Plus I trusted Zoggs who made them as they also made my previous pair. What a waste of £25. Never use company again.

I bought 2 costumes for size comparison and so had to send one back. It was not clear how to return an item on website and I could not find delivery note with instructions on it but i found an email address so messaged that. I got a quick and clear reply detailing instructions and the process from then on was smooth. I had a quick acknowledgement of the return.

I love looking at the new range of Zogg swimsuits. On this occasion I only brought one. My fellow swimmers at the pool love the blue colour of my new one. It fits really nice.

Ordered a swimming costume online in July and ordered the wrong size during toddler meltdown. Entirely my fault.
Evidently too small when it arrived so I returned for an exchange at my expense, for what I believe to be my actual size and when that arrived, the sizing was just awful. Couldn’t get it over my hips. You can’t make 2 exchanges so was forced to have a refund onto a gift card. Ok fine.
Purchased another two costumes (for size comparison) costing £62 in total. Paid with the £20 gift card and rest on debit card. Obviously kept one that fit and returned the other.
They have refunded me £3.01 to my bank and £20 back onto a gift card.
The returned costume cost £31 but they’ve deducted me two lots of postage costs. One for the privilege of the return and the cost of postage for the one I kept.
When I called to query costs and why I was refunded back to a gift card, all they could say was that’s how it is, the refund will always go back to a gift card if used. Even if the larger amount paid was by card. I accept the postage costs however why on earth would I want to keep another gift card?
So now I have a gift card I won’t ever use (I don’t buy swimming costumes regularly) and effectively one costume has cost me £51 plus p&p!

Popped into the shop today as we were in the area and the ladies were really helpful finding my 11 year old daughter 3 new training suits. They made countless trips to their warehouse to find exactly what we needed, advising on shape and fit. Worth the journey to get great customer service.

The description of the product supplied was incorrect which meant it was not fit for purpose. For hygiene reasons it can’t be returned. They have not replied to my email complaint or published my 1 star review on their website. I won’t be buying from them again.

Highly recommendable Products but also a very professional Customer Service Adviser - Richard - was extremly helpful to solve my problem which probably took him some time to solve. Thanks very much for all the help, will buy some more items for my wife's birthday but also will recommend your company to all our friends

Not often I write a review ,but the customer service I received from simply swim was fantastic. Daughter just moved to uni halls in Scotland and needed new bag. I was worried about send to university accommodation. Swim bag was delivered on time and quickly. Had a query and spoke to customer services who called me straight back . Fantastic service ! Will definitely order from here again

I was looking for a swimming trunk in plain black and Simply Swim was the only store with a fairly good selection. I ordered three different sizes because I was not sure which one would fit me best and because none of them did, I ordered two more.
I did this knowing that they do "HASSLE FREE RETURNS ON ALL ORDERS" as it's stated on the main page, in all caps and bold letters. But it wasn't to be like that...while the return was indeed hassle free, it wasn't free and surelly not on ALL ORDERS.
At Simply Swim returns are free ONLY if you take store credit for the items you send back, if you want a refund, then you need to pay to return the items. Ok, fair enough, even if this is not what was stated on the main page. At least it says in the Return and Exchanges page about all this and mentions in bold that they can provide a Royal Mail label for £4. I decided to use another courier for £2.99.
Because I had to return four pairs of swimming trunks from two orders, I put them all in one of the packaging left from the orders and sent back just one parcel.
When it got time for the refund I had another surprise, apart from the not so free return, I've also been charged £4 for my second order because by returning one item, the order's value was now less than the required value for free shipping.
I went back on the Return and Exchanges page and this time read thoroughly every paragraph...indeed, it says there about this new charge, so can't say much about that.

BUT, why would you advertise on the main page that returns are FREE ON ALL ORDERS when they clearly aren't?! Returns are free on SOME occasions, but not ALL the time, like it was in my case. Also, why wouldn't you specify ALL returning costs in the same paragraphnand thus making it more clear? Also, why charge £4 for a large letter, when Royal Mail charges £2.70.

Anyway, it's my fault for not having read all the Return and Exchange page, because after all, everything was mentioned there, but I do find this marketing practice of Simply Swim to be delibaretelly misleading, or at least surprisingly ignorant to common sense.
Otherwise, Simply Swim seems to be a great online store for swim stuff and would recommend because of that, but with the mention to be careful when returning items.

So impressed with Simply Swim, the staff were so friendly and knowledgable. A well stocked swimming shop with all the brands Speedo, Arena, Zoggs and Funkita for swimwear, goggles and all the accessories. Our daughter has just got into competitive swimming, so it’s perfect to have this shop on our doorstep in Reading.

I’ve purchase swimsuits for both my childrens from here. The quality. Selections and service is always good

Order was processed very quickly, unfortunately part of the order was missing. I contacted simply swim, they replied very promptly and sent the missing items immediately.
They offer a good range of swimming accessories at good prices so I will definitely order from them again.

I ordered two swimming costumes a size bigger as I had been told speedo items are smaller. They were so, so small so I was unable to take them on holiday two days later and, because of work commitments unable to return them before my holiday. I now have two costumes that are completely useless to me. I feel there should be a size warning if they come up that small.

Had three swimming costumes off simply swim for my daughter and always had excellent value and service

The item was exactly as ordered and arrived in good time. However the cardboard box containing the lens ordered was damaged, possibly by the postman trying to push it through the letterbox. Curiously this morning I received an apology for inviting a review because I hadn't ordered anything recently.

Great swimming jammers at a great price. Quick delivery, good communication.
