I got a car hire supplementary insurance from them.
Unfortunately I damaged the rental car while parking, and the rental charges were high.
SimplyExcess paid me the charges in full on receipt of the supporting documents. I would certainly use them again (though I hope never to have to make a claim again).

A very easy and cheaper way to get car rental Inssurance cover. Did not need to use, but the process look very easy.

Not had to use the policy as of yet but purchasing set up was straightforward, and helpful email reminders were sent around the rental period

Thankfully all went smoothly and I didn't have to use the policy, so I can't comment on how that would have been. Purchase process and guidance provided was very good.

Applying for the policy was quite easy. The policy cost was quite fair. I didn't have to make a claim so can't comment on this aspect.

Responded quickly and appropriately to my emails. They kindly changed the dates on my policy when I had to unexpectedly postpone my holiday, no charges added. Policy was comprehensive and clear.

Having already brought our excess cover made getting the car so much easier as we didn't have the pressure sales from the car hire representative to buy theirs's. A helpful tip have a printed copy of your insurance to show them.

To purchase the policy was very easy and straightforward for someone with my limited ability.
The cover looks great for the cost of the policy, however the proof in the pudding comes if unfortunately you have to make a claim.
