First time I have used Simply Excess and whilst I didn't need to make a claim, the product benefits were clearly detailed in both the policy document and IPID. The pricing was also very competitive relative to the quotes I had obtained from both airline websites and the car hire firm I was using for the same product. Definitely will use again

This is the first time I have used simply excess to cover my hire car in Spain.
Unfortunately on return of my car they found a small scratch on the bumper and kept 300 euros of my deposit. I claimed on my policy when I returned home and the money was reimbursed after three days.

Quick and easy policy to take out, very competitive and given lots of good information about car hire, potential issues and contact details.
Didn't have to make a claim so cannot comment on that side of the policy but would definitely use SimplyExcess again

Without a doubt a very cost effective way to deal with the excess, at a fraction of the cost that would be charged by the rental company. I didn't have to make a claim, so I cannot comment on that part of the insurance

Straightforward online process, this excess car insurance provides welcome protection at a competitive premium. Although I'me a careful driver (no car insurance claims in 60 years driving) I still value this extra assurance when driving an unfamiliar vehicle abroad.

Speedy replies with clear instructions on making a claim and very quick settlement of my claim. I did provide all info that was requested.

Good pricing compared to hire car company standard policy which was 10 times more expensive and did not cover the underside and tyres of the vehicle.
