Simplycarpets Arvostelua 

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience with them. I picked out a colour of carpet that I liked and trusted the salesperson to write the right colour down. I should have checked what he wrote down and also taken a picture of the colour I picked out. He said he would order it for me, as they didn't have any in. He showed me a couple of other colours, mink and cognac which I didn't like. When I collected the carpet it was rolled so I didn't see the colour until I unrolled it at home. The piece also had a large crease down the middle, so I suspected it was an off cut. I went back to check the colour and I couldn't see it in the swatches. I spoke to the salesperson and they admitted that the piece I had was an offcut. He wasn't exactly friendly and I wasn't in the place to point out that I had then paid full price for an offcut, that actually wasn't the colour I had wanted. All I can say is that it might be wise to double check everything when you buy something and take a picture of the carpet you chose. I will be doing so from now on.

We used Simply Carpets to buy and install moduleo LVT in our new loft room, and new carpet for a box room, hallway and 2x stairs.

We’re really pleased with the final results, love the LVT and carpet. I’m writing this mediocre review however because the after care has been unfortunately disappointing.

LVT = all flooring was left very sticky and lots of caulking unfinished and/or completed badly. After contact they sent someone round to amend the caulking, which they did, but the floor was unfortunately left sticky still (pulls on socks if you walk over it, and has fluff and hairs stick to it etc). I don’t mind cleaning the floor in the future of course but I expected a brand new floor to be installed in a clean and useable condition!

Carpet = really pleased with the carpet but sadly a wooden area on our stairs has been damaged and then seemingly coloured in (?) in an attempt to hide it. It would have been great if the guys had let us know abut this damage when they were here.

On contacting them again, they said they would fix it but sadly have ignored my numerous follow up emails. It’s a shame that a company that we would have liked to use in the future has left us with a sour taste in our mouths.
