What I really needed was total water hardness test strips. The test I ordered came about due to ambiguous information. However the total hardness section does give a good indication of how my water softening unit is performing. MB

The testing strips I recieved did not work

I bought the testing kit to see if my water leak was ground or treated water. The colour the test strips turned was just a wet version of the test strip and did not correspond with any colour on the chart on the side of test kit - I then tested a series of samples with known chlorine levels and nothing registered on the test strip. Although they were in date, they did not work. I got back to the company and was given 'cut and paste' type replies in which it was obvious what I was explaining hadn't been read. I was offered a 40% refund and despite sending two further emails, I have had no response or refund.

very happy

placed order and received very quickly. really useful to use these tablets to test if the water softener is working as it should. very happy and would recommend and definitely use again.
