Clean well lit organised storage, helpful friendly staff

Great service and good value for money. Thanks to Kentish Town team for looking after the facility in Euston. Really friendly and helpful.

The test of great service is of course not when things are going as planned but when things go wrong. On this test, Shurgard failed abjectly. There was a problem with the electric door which would not open. Shurgard staff acknowledged this but could not promise that it would be fixed same day and had no alternative solution despite repeated
Of course there was a solution - open the manual door instead and employ a security guard! Turns out it had been a known problem for days…
Why didn’t the staff know about this? Half a day wasted and in the meantime had to deal with staff who clearly didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t appear to care. Phone calls not returned, phone even put down on one occasion. Emails unanswered. “Not my fault” attitude. Pitiful …

Very convenient to store your luggage for the meantime.

Though it took time to confirm your identity. You need to go to another location.

- Super difficult to speak to the right person/branch for help over the phone.
- Broken life (apparently for months)
- Entry code not working
- Water leak, little help
- No internet, no toilet

Absolute shame of a company. Their lift never works, on five occasions we have had to carry heavy boxes through narrow staircases to the basement because the lift is always “out of service”. Last night, after having paid two men with a van to empty out storage space, it appeared they had added another security door since our last visit in September which wouldn’t open with the codes we were provided. The lift wasn’t working again either. So we paid our moving team in vain and couldn’t access the storage. No one to respond to the “after hours” phone numbers either. Incredibly disappointing.

Outside door are always locked open, as are internal doors. Anyone can wander in off the street; feels highly insecure. Toilets are padlocked and inaccessible, and unit is in a residential area with no public facilities nearby. Lift out of order for the last month. Unstaffed site, so no help available, and no one answers the office number.
Facility is clean and convenient, but would highly recommend booking a unit in a staffed location at the same price.

overall ok but it has issues with lift, only one lift available. Goods lift suddenly stopped working in the middle of moving my stuff to the basement floor, tried many times to make it work but no success, and no staff around to help as it was after 9pm, so I had to move rest of my stuff on my own carrying through stairs, 12 big boxes and obviously couldn't use trolley either, was so frustrating..

Very disappointed with my storage in London Euston. On the day of the moving the lift wasn’t working, had to carry all my belongings down very narrow stairs. Let alone I couldn’t even drive the van inside as the maximum height is ridiculously low. On the top of that the restroom was out of order with no place to go nearby…. A very bad experience expressed to the customer service team who didn’t even take the time to reply my complaint.
