Shurgard Self Storage - Alperton Park Royal Arvostelua 

Wow wow they made a stressful thing like moving a breeze. Shan at the Alperton store is amazing. His focus on Customer Service really makes it an outstanding place. Actually, the system is set up so well that you never even need to talk to a store manager you could just do everything online. You use a pin and there’s lifts. It’s very clean and it’s climate controlled. The only caveats are I had a specific requirement for access and it was difficult to get someone from the location to call me back until after I signed a contract. It just kept going to a corporate . But after I did sign, I was given specific details for the store manager they were completely flexible and made sure my access needs were completely met.

I recently downsized my storage unit at Shurgard Self Storage Alperton, and I have to say the experience was absolutely seamless from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Emma and Keri-Ann, who were both exceptional throughout the entire process. From the very first enquiry, they were responsive, clear, and incredibly helpful - providing all the information I needed regarding unit sizes, pricing, and the transfer process.

What really stood out was their professionalism and efficiency. Everything was explained in a straightforward manner, and the transfer itself was handled smoothly without any complications. They made what could have been a stressful process feel simple and well-organised.

On the day of the transfer, everything was ready as promised, and the whole process - from signing to moving units - was completed without any issues.

It’s rare to come across such a high level of customer service these days, and both Emma and Keri-Ann are a real credit to Shurgard.

Very easy to set up and get started. Staff are very friendly and the app is easy to use...BUT there are some serious issues which stop me giving this company 5 stars.
* I'm set up with Alperton Park Royal. The app says it is open until 9pm but it actually closes at 8pm.
* I was there Friday night before 8pm thinking I had plenty of time until the sight closed. After 8pm the lift would no longer take me to the level my storage unit was located. There was no one to call for help or advice as the office had closed. The exit gate would not let me out using the app. A poster said to call the number on the exit gate BUT when you call that number it's an automated message in French. I tried typing my code into the barrier but that didn't work either. I was basically trapped with no way out!
* I was very lucky another customer was in the building as the app on their phone was still letting them use the lift and they helped us get through the exit barrier. I'm not sure why they still had access to everything and I didn't?
* I e-mailed the company for help on Friday night and still haven't heard anything.

We organised storage space for a very specific day, hiring movers and a van. When we arrived, the lifts were not working and other customers were on site letting us know they had been waiting hours for someone to come out and fix it. We eventually had to arrange alternative storage and when we called, they told us to send an email explaining the situation. Up to now, we've had no response to our emails.

Helpful staff - namely Michael. Easy to do what I hoped to do.

Good storage unit, security and access and cheaper prices than other storage units in the area. Shame about the rude and unhelpful staff in the reception at Alperton Park Royal though!
