I recently signed up my son for karate classes at this club, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We were looking for a place that not only taught modern karate but also emphasised self-defense, and this club exceeded our expectations. After a trial session, it was clear that joining as full members was the best choice. Sensai Majid is an outstanding instructor—his credentials as a martial artist are impressive, and his dedication to his students is evident in every session. His teaching style is engaging and effective, focusing on instilling confidence and discipline in young learners. Highly recommend to any parent considering martial arts for their children.

My son attended a 1:1 class with Olgen. It was a great session and built my son’s confidence. I also attended a ladies seminar which was equally as good and taught me many new skills.

Shuhari MA club is a very welcoming and friendly environment. They offer both women and men a safe and structured class to learn martial arts and the locations and times are convenient. What i really like is the technical attention to real world defence, not impractical moves that look good or win tournament points. Sparring is respectful and educational, never out of control. The school puts traditional approaches at the heart of its syllabus and I've really enjoyed being a student; highly recommend!

Olgun is an absolute master of his craft, he is incredibly knowledgeable and has a true skill for teaching such important defence techniques that all women especially should know. I highly recommend his services!

My daughter started with Shuhari in August 2023 and she loves attending the sessions. I have seen changes in her approach towards tackling with any issues. She really likes her coach.
I find communication really good and if miss any session you are allowed to cover them later. Olgun is always prompt in replying.

Olgun and his team have been exceptionally wonderful and very welcoming. Being part of shuhari martial arts has been a great experience. I have learnt life long skills which I know are much needed. I would highly recommend everyone to join shuhari and gain these skills.

An amazing team of very experienced sensei’s. My son love going training, not only do they teach martial arts, they also teach how to communicate and try to de-escalate situation, confidence. I cannot recommend this club enough, go give it a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed. My son says it’s like an extended family, all the students help and support each other.

Shuhari is Awesome, I have trained in many martial arts looking for self-defence few have delivered. Olgun the chief instructor really knows his stuff as well as being a really great guy.

My daughter and I have been attending Shuhari Martials Arts for two months and we enjoy attending each week. From our first session we were made to feel very welcome by the Sensei's and other students. There is a wide range of ages of students of varying grades. Shuhari Self Defence Martial Arts club, I recommend it to Kids. My Son as part of club for past more than 3 years and he completed 3 stages with more confidence and passion The instructors are supportive and approachable. Suhari Martial Arts is a club I recommend to all children. My daughter started a few months ago and her confidence and passion has developed and grown week on week. The instructors are friendly, approachable and have high expectations-this I believe has been core to the self discpline i have seen in my daughter. I believe this is the best martial arts club with many locations.

Both my children have been attending self defence classes with Shuhari for a number of years now. The instructors are always patient but know the limit/potential of their students and push them to not only meet but exceed where possible. Well organised sessions that are set to accommodate all skill levels.

Sessions are always great, there is a lot to learn for kids and adults alike in an atmosphere which is always friendly. The instructor is FANTASTIC. I would 100% recommend to anyone interested. I train with my 6yo daughter every week.
