Shore Excursions Group Arvostelua 

We use Shore Excursions because they are cheaper than on the cruise ship. We have always had great drivers who make it fun and safe. And they get us back to the ship right on time. We would not use any other business but them! Top notch!

Everything was simple to do. No jumping through hoops to finalize things.

Do not use this Company. We booked a “Paint by the Sea” excursion in St. Maarten . Paid and received written confirmation and directions to meet the tour. I should have suspected something was up when the directions were wrong and no one heard of the meeting spot. Finally with the help of the local police we found the location and arrived 30 minutes early. I called the local number provided in the confirmation to say we arrived but there were no signs. I was told there would be no tour. A mix up on their end. Money would be returned. Still have not seen the refund. In addition what a waste of time and a port stop. Too late to book something else. Suggest if you want a reliable company - try someone else.

Love how easy it was to find excursions relating to our ship and departure times. Great details about excursions. Thanks team. Only had a problem trying to get credit card to pay. Third time lucky 😉

The excursion was basically a reservation of a tee time. I had to arrange my own transportation and rent my own clubs. I guess my expectations of an excursion while on a trip were higher than expected. I expected others from the two cruise ships and perhaps to be put with other golfers. I ended up golfing alone but still had a nice time.

On the positive side, I didn’t have any trouble checking in and getting my voucher authenticated.

The golf course was very nice and they had the best golf carts I’ve ever seen. The staff at the course was amazing and very helpful.

The low rating is not feeling like I got much in the way of service from Shore Excursions for what I payed.

I am updating my original one-star review to five stars.

After investigating the issue with our canceled “Small Group Swedish Fika Walking Experience from Stockholm” tour, Shore Excursions Group fully resolved the matter. They refunded both the full cost of the excursion and our taxi expenses incurred traveling to the meeting point.

While the initial experience was disappointing, Shore Excursions Group ultimately stood behind its refund policy and made things right. Travelers can book with confidence knowing that, if a scheduled tour does not take place, the company will honor its commitment to compensate customers appropriately.

We scheduled shore excursions for most posts on a Baltic Cruise. We specifically scheduled the Tour "Small Group Swedish Fika Walking Experience from Stockholm" and arrived 15 mins prior to the Tour commencement at 10:00 am. The tour guide never turned up. We called the local number (+46 731408655) and after two attempts were able to speak to the representative. They said they would call the tour guide and call back. You guessed it, we never heard back from them again. They never picked up the numerous attempts to call them back either. The tour never happened.

We submitted a request for a refund from Shore Excursions Group and provided them with:
(1) The return Taxi bill to the ship
(2) Photograph of the location where we were waiting with clear street names (photos are time stamped)
(3) Evidence of call logs to the local representative that were made prior to and after the scheduled tour commencement time
(4) Evidence of call logs to the US Emergency number
(5) A complete claim form
The initial claim was submitted to the email we were guided to use to process a claim the same day, 8th June 2026. A follow up email to the website "Contact Us" was sent on the 14th June and we received acknowledgement of the receipt of that email indicating that they would "pass this on to their management team for review" on the 15th June. Today is the 2nd July 2026 and there has been no response from that review process.
While the claim they have all these services in place, local contacts, emergency numbers, a process for claiming a refund for a tour where the tour guide never shows up, the support they offer is lacking and I would recommend you look elsewhere for your shore excursion experience so that you don't have a disappointing shore excursion.

Had to book this twice. First time your site lost my session.

We did “The Baths” tour on Virgin Gordo. From our cruise ship we ported in Tortola and took this tour. From the start it was a first class tour. They were on time. We had to water taxi to virgin Gorda. Do a hiking tour to the baths. Swim and then return back. We were on a separate water taxi as a group to keep us on schedule. This particular excursion was incredible and I highly recommend. And the shore excursions rep was outstanding. We never had a concern about getting back to our ship on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book more excursions thru this company.

While the overall excursion was nice there some things that kept me from giving 5 stars. We were strongly encouraged to speak with cruise staff to ensure we were on first tender off ship to ensure we would make the excursion time. We were able to do so. After arriving at meeting point in Santorini we waited 1/2 an hour for other guests who then were taken before us to start their tour! We weren’t the only ones it happened to. I was made to feel like a disgruntled, Debbie Downer because I spoke up about this unfair way of organizing the tour. I believe there were 3-4 small tour buses with the company. The tour guides had lots of energy and lots of great knowledge. But spent a lot of time reminding us that they were the best tour company on the island and although the start was chaotic, it was organized chaotic. Also, reminding us that the most important thing is that the best part of excursions should be the last memories, not the first impression so then everything is fine. They said we would not have use of bathrooms for 2 and half hours, it ended up being 3 and half hours. They also stated in their contract that we would have the option of a lunch at a restaurant or we could choose to eat on our own with instructions on how to get back to departure area. That never happened. We really wanted to eat on our own but as I said, we were never given the option. Only mentioned in the document. We were brought to Mario’s restaurant. Our table waited almost 25 min before a server could make it over for drink orders. Our two guides were eating their meals before I even received a glass of water. Crazy. I also noticed that there were 2-3 other tour buses with the same business logo in parking lot. I guessing they have a working relationship with the restaurant owner. While the sites we saw were great and commentary informative, there is lots they could do to improve the experience for all customers.

User friendly website! New users should know your website should be accessed via the cruise confirmation email from AAdvantage Cruises, NOT the reminder email to book shore excursions!!

I've used this site multiple times and I get quality excursions at cheaper prices than the cruise lines. I completely recommend it.
