We investigated with both the seller and FedEx; the seller confirmed the item was packed securely, and FedEx confirmed the package was shipped and delivered. A dispute was also filed with the bank, and after reviewing the documentation from all parties, the bank resolved the case in favor of the seller. While we regret the outcome was not what the shopper had hoped for, the claim was carefully reviewed by the seller, FedEx, and the bank. Protecting our buyers and sellers is very important to us, and we continue to refine our processes to better support customers in situations like this.

Hi, we sincerely apologize for the frustration and confusion you’ve experienced. We understand how upsetting it is to be without both the item and the refund, and we’re truly sorry this has happened.

To clarify, ShopShops is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers. We do not hold seller funds, so refunds must be processed directly by the seller.

That said, this particular seller has violated our platform policies and has since been banned. We’ve also confirmed that you filed a dispute with your bank, and we’ve accepted it on our end. The bank should now be processing the refund back to your account.
