Easy to order and delivered in a timely manner. Wheelchair is light enough for me to put in and out of car alone and husband is able to get out and go to more places.

Definitely not worth the money

Definitely not worth the money. Looks and works like it's about $30 to make. The bands pop wvery time you pull them and they have a little plastic ball that is supposed to hold them in place. Looks totally different than the picture. Total waist of money after trying g to use about 3 times, it just takes up space. Do not recommend to purchase at all.

just the seat came the seat cushion to be exact no chair with it. My guess is the chair is still in the FedEx truck on its way to somewhere else.

Order a pediatric wheelchair

Order a pediatric wheelchair, per order it provided a delivery date within 4 business days for rush delivery. After numerous calls and emails, after 5 business days I am waiting on the delivery and still no update on actual delivery date. They keep telling me they need to confirm with the warehouse. Item needed after an emergency injury.

Great Customer Service

For the product that I purchased, It was the lowest that I found. Unfortunately, I had to return it. Communication through the process was off the chart. I wish more companies has this type of customer service! You will not make a mistake ordering from them.

Unacceptable Treatment of a Disabled Patient


I had an extremely disappointing experience with ShopHomeMed, and I strongly caution others—especially those purchasing medical equipment for vulnerable family members.

I purchased an adjustable bed for approximately $3,200 and paid an additional ~$500 for “white glove” delivery service, which was supposed to include full setup inside the home. The bed was left curbside. The white glove technician arrived later and refused to carry the bed into the residence. I was forced to find and pay additional help out of pocket just to get the bed inside—completely defeating the purpose of paying for premium delivery.

It gets worse.

After setup, the bed did not function at all. I immediately contacted the company and was told a replacement remote would be sent. The remote was out of stock, and we had to wait an unreasonably long time. When it finally arrived, the bed still did not work.

I then had to go through additional hoops—recording and sending videos—only to be told they would “open a new case,” followed by a notice that they were closing for a period of time. No resolution, no urgency, no accountability.

Meanwhile, my husband—who is completely disabled—has been left without a functioning medical bed due to this company’s failures. This is not just an inconvenience; it has had a real and ongoing impact on his health and quality of life.

Despite all of this, the company is refusing to accept a return of this defective product, preventing me from purchasing a functional bed from a more reliable provider.

This experience has been frustrating, exhausting, and frankly unacceptable. When a company sells essential medical equipment, it has a responsibility to ensure that the product works and that the service promised is actually delivered. ShopHomeMed has failed on every level.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Not the Brand I Ordered

The web page from which I ordered the hospital bed was clearly marked “Invacare” and the lead image on that page is the same one used on other sites selling Invacare beds. My order receipt also says “Invacare.” But the bed that was shipped was from ProHeal, not Invacare. While ProHeal appears to be an adequate brand, it does not have the reputation of Invacare. This is too close to bait and switch for my liking.

You sent the wrong item

You sent the wrong item. It should be able to be resolved in 1 phone call. Period.!!!!!
But ten or twelve emails later I still do Not have any answers.
You guys sent the wrong thing it should corrected immediately. Send the right one out yesterday.

the product that I received was workable, but full instructions were lacking

The product that I received what what I ordered. However, instructions for assembly were virtually non-existant. After I complained to Shop Home Med, they provided me with a YouTube video that was sufficient for me to complete the assembly.
