This hosting provider used to operate under the name Ghost Nodes, and now they’ve rebranded to Shard Hosting — the same people, same operation, just a different name. Every time bad reviews build up, they rebrand to appear like a fresh, trustworthy company again.
This kind of constant rebranding is a huge red flag. It’s not just confusing; it’s misleading to customers who think they’re buying from a new, reputable business. In my past experience, their service was unreliable and their support became defensive when I left an honest review. They even flagged my review as “illegal or harmful” in an attempt to silence criticism — Trustpilot thankfully rejected the claim.
If a company truly cared about customers, they’d improve their service — not keep running from their reputation. I strongly recommend avoiding them unless you’re okay with dealing with a host that might disappear and come back under a new name every few months.

Now that they have been forced to publicly admit they are a rebrand of "Ghost Nodes," they are trying to discredit me by demanding "proof" of my experience.
They have even taken this off Trustpilot and are now emailing me privately (as "Ahsan Faiyaz, Co Founder") in an attempt to intimidate me.
I will not be silenced or drawn into a private argument. The facts are already public and admitted by them:
1. They ARE a rebrand of "Ghost Nodes."
2. They defend a "$100" server budget.

This is not of a genuine experience, the one wanting to visit our trust pilot and confirm things, please read below. This is only a tldr.
Hello. I'd like to refute to your claims.
Firstly, we're already investing as much as we can on the hosting provider. We've spent around a 100$ on just our dedicated servers, 80$ on other services and utilities. You can join our discord so we can show you the proof of our investment or directly message the user ts_101.
We're already providing the customers with as good of a service as we can provide. If we ever go under, we'll definitely refund the funds that have been sent to us.
We've not advertised as a new, reputable service ever. We're rather aiming to give each user the best servers that we can provide, we're already providing dedicated threads as well as RAM boosts for each server buying from us.
Finally, we're not running away from our reputation, we've accepted our past and we'll go along with it. We'll keep operating under this name as long as we can.
Edit : Response to the edit of the response. yes, we're a rebrand of Ghost Nodes, but that's only because there were too many websites/hosts under the name of "Ghost Nodes/Ghost Hosting", so we picked a less common name.
As for refunds, that's just a reassurance that your money is safe.
We're a starter host. So of course we should only scale up as time goes on? We do not want to go bankrupt at the very beginning. This proves that we're careful and want to provide the best experience without overselling to cover losses. So I ask you this, what's wrong with an investment of 100$ on just servers? Plus, this is monthly. We also have to pay 80$ more on other utilities and services. Your claims just point out hate instead of an actual experience and criticism.

Our question is : What's wrong with the rebranding as we have already announced it and moved everyone to the new hosting? We also stated the reason for our rebranding? Our customers are happy with their services. You have not sent any proof to either our discord or the user we have told you to DM.
