Shade Zone Arvostelua 

I ordered a retractable zip screen from Shade Zone which arrived today (2 July 2026). The quality looks excellent and it is exactly what we were looking for to finish off our extension.
Throughout the process Joe kept me well informed of the lead times and when the screen would be fitted. The two fitters who erected the screen were professional, quick and left the area spotless when they left.

Shade zone were fantastic, they helped us with our decision making and managed our expectations. The final product was fantastic and sets off our garden from others. We will definitely use this company again. The team were polite and professional. They even placed all our garden furniture back to its original place.

Visited the showroom in Hull and had a great experience from the start. Andy was really helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk us through the different options without any pressure.

We decided to go with a glass canopy and we’re really glad we did – the quality is excellent and it’s completely transformed our outdoor space. The whole process felt smooth and professional, from the initial visit through to installation.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality canopy or awning.

Spent near on 26k on a Renson awning with these guys, it was fitted poorly and took them a few months to rectify, I ran into money issues whilst they were sorting it and it took me 3 months to sort the final down payment and they were able to check in weekly for payment updates, but no weekly contact since the awning has been broken and unusable since January 2024, it’s now November and it’s been 3 weeks since I last got an update which I have to chase for, 11 months I’ve been extremely patient but now I will be leaving reviews and warning others.

So just over two years ago we bought a Weinor remote controlled Awning from Shade Zone. We went for the remote control one and frankly we should have stuck with a manual wind out one.
We’d previously had two wind out budget ( by budget I mean hundreds of pounds rather than the thousands we spent) awnings at our old house and had no issues apart from the fabric fading which I replaced a couple of times.
So just within the two year warranty ( t & c buried in the small print) the awning stopped intermittently during use and having sent a video to Shade Zone they said that they knew what the issue was and as I was just inside the warranty they would order the part from Weinor and this would be free of charge but there would be a fitting charge of £360.00. I queried this of course because what is a warranty for? I was told their fitters were self employed and didn't work for them so they had no control over their charging.
The fitter came yesterday and replaced a receiving unit in the awning. He was on site for less than 30 minutes.
I queried this again and this was subsequently reduced to £240.00 which I’ve just done a transfer for.
So my advice is buy a manually operated one probably the cheapest you can buy and ensure the retailer actually employs the fitters and don't use a third party for the installation.

I’m thoroughly disappointed with the warranty and I shall be following up this review with one for Weinor.

Shade zone (in particular Joe), provided an excellent service with regards to providing I Velarium 120 sunshade.
Their service from start to finish was excellent, there was no problems with changes in the design, they delivered on time, install was not fuse, and the end product was very good quality. I’m very happy with the product and was the client.

I dealt with Andy from S-Zone who, from my first contact with him, has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. We bought the all singing all dancing Renson and have been blown away by the quality.
The installation team were excellent and did an amazing job. I got in touch with 5 suppliers and found S-Zone to be the most responsive and helpful - I highly recommend Andy and his team.

Andy made the home visit straightforward and informative. Loads of choice and ideas and no pressure to buy. The fitters came as planned - the work done neatly and thoughtfully - a lovely job.
