I've been using Seknd to look up and write no BS reviews and look up skincare I'm interested in. Generally they have good reviews by other people and also have perks you can get monthly when you leave reviews.
I ordered skincare samples from Seknd. The process was simple: you go to their site, get matched to products that are right for you, and check out with the samples you want to try.
It was a straightforward experience and I appreciated the chance to try products I wouldn't pay for, normally (>$50 for a moisturizer is hard for me to justify). I did not experience a delay on my shipment and liked the sample packaging. All in all, it was a good way to try out different skincare products I wouldn't be able to access on a regular basis.
Their website UX is terrible. There are no clear instructions on how to write review or get your money back after reviewing your samples.
At first I was pleased with my experience when I received the samples I paid for, although it did take over 2 weeks for shipping, despite being a local company (same state I live in). However the promised beauty credit was never received. I've emailed customer service over 4 times these past few weeks with absolutely no response. Yet they are posting and responding to comments on Instagram? Highly unprofessional and makes me feel unvalued as a paying customer.
