DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING. EVEN OVER THE PHONE. Absolute scammers. Whoever the owner/director of this company, they know their stuff, that I will say. You're basically tying people into a service, that is free. When you ask for evidence that they've done the "service" they claim to provide, they have no back up. You scammed my mother, who has worked her hardest to start a business from the ground up and there's people like these a-holes, who try and make money for nothing. I will do everything to stop this company.

UPDATE. This scam is huge! So many "changes" on your records. From directors, shareholders, the addresses, company names, no accounts are ever given because you get caught and "strike off" then start again under a different name. You're good! Won't last forever though.

If I could have put no stars I would have. Absolute bullies and had to resort to putting the phone down just to get the irritating voice of Jake off the telephone. It is no wonder that people sign up because I am sure he just likes the sound of his own voice and goes on and on and on! Could not back up where the statistics came from and when challenged, produced some feeble excuse. We do not need fleecing companies such as this, we have managed for long enough without!

Utterly despicable 'company' that uses pressure selling and bully tactics to try and extort money from you claiming that there are 1000's of people finding your business thanks to the imaginary hard work from them. They don't like to be questioned when you ask what program they are using to analyse all the data compiled that comes up with their fictional figures they spoof and say they will email the details over once payment has been made. Ha! Yeah....right. I did not come down the Lagan in a bubble.

They told me if the page was deleted that it would have a huge detrimental impact on the business.....so let me get this straight....a company that's been in business for 40+ years is at risk by not paying £200 to have a few reviews online? He went a bit quiet at this point.

I called his bluff, told him to delete the page. He then got irate and insisted we had to pay. I said we were not paying and I had read the TrustPilot reviews.

I said 'delete the page, we are not paying'. I then hung up.

SCAM: Formerly known as Map Point UK, do a Google search for this company using the word scam. These people do nothing but claim your free Google My Business listing then charge you £250 each year for doing nothing. Its a telemarketing operation operating from Leeds. DO NOT LET THEM OWN YOUR BUSINESS LISTING DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CODES. THEY ARE NOT GOOGLE. GAUNT, Stephanie Louise is the sole director yet is listed as a PA on linked in. DO NOT TRUST THEY WILL FLEECE YOU.

I keep getting contacted by them asking me to sign up telling me how many customers I will miss out on if I don't, they will not take no for an answer and do not listen when you ask them to stop, they just keep going through the speech sheet in front of them. They always start with we forgot to de-list your 30 day free trial and how found that you have had x number of views for your address and phone number. I have asked them to take me off their call list but they will not.

Avoid at all costs, no cooling off period. This rule needs to be changed.
Horrible dishonourable scum. Do not agree to anything with them. Just cost me £120.

I wasn’t given the terms and conditions in writing, only over the phone. You use these rules about no cooling off periods to your advantage. Which is sharp practice at best!
A decent honourable company would have cancelled the contract, or had a small cancellation fee.

Just had them contact me saying that my Google business registration wasn't correct. I had actually done it a couple of weeks ago which I told the woman, she ignored that, kept asking questions, I did not agree to anything as I refuse to pay for advertising. I wait to see what happens.
Hang up on them instantly!!

Absolute parasites whom use cold calling, misleading and hard sales tactics to try and con you out of your money. They outright lie to you in order to get that commision they all want.

SearchPointUK contacted my husband regarding Google my Business. My husband was confused who he was talking to and agreed to a service that wasn't required. We haven't even been fully advised what we are meant to be paying for. I have since googled online and Google my Business is a free service so what are they providing which is any different? We contacted SearchPointUK within 7 days to explain the situation, however they advised they were unable to cancel the agreement as we agreed. We didn't sign any contract, however they have a recorded telephone conversation which proves my husband did agree to the service. However, you can tell from the telephone call he was in the middle of a job and didn't have time to talk. The lady was very insistent and he just wanted to get them off the phone as he was trying to fix a vehicle.
I emailed them and explained again we didn't require the service, again they basically said tough, we had to keep the service! Unfortunately, as you know there is no cooling off period with contracts business to business. We didn't even see the contract and haven't signed anything. They keep re-iterating that the telephone recording is proof and we need to pay.
Initially, the payment was £80 plus VAT. We ignored future telephone calls as were so upset with their customer service.
5 months later, they have now written to us demanding payment and we have now incurred a further £40 debt charge so they are requesting £136. They have advised if we don't comply it could result in court proceedings.
We are a small business who have recently suffered like many others due to Covid 19. I know this is not a huge amount of money, but for me it is now principle.I have also looked online and the reviews for this company are appalling. I cannot believe they are able to continue trading. ‘Which’ have had numerous complaints and the trust Pilot reviews are also very negative. It is very clear that many small business have suffered like me, I am determined to stand my ground and not pay.

Horrific experience with undesirable characters. Has anybody ever been to court with these people i very much doubt it but if you have please post. They are threatening me now for a year's subscription which i am refusing to pay because its all a big scam.

I've had no end of trouble with these. Had the 30 day free trial, then paid for a year by cheque. I had a pushy saleswoman on the phone who talked me into a second year, but on reflection I changed my mind - still within my initial years contract with them. I emailed to say I wasn't going to go ahead the next day and they said because I agreed I'd have to pay £210 anyway. They say I haven't emailed them -even though I have and I have copies, they call several times per month usually at least once a week. It may or may not be a legitimate company but customer satisfaction is at an all time low in my regard. It's absolutely NOT WORTH getting involved with them. Don't even take the free trial!

I have in writing that i cancelled but yet i have received a second call today from a very pushy salesman who continued to talk over me when i said to take the page down. They have kept my page up after the 30 day free trial even though i cancelled. He wouldn't take no for an answer and eventually i put the phone down on him. The first call was exactly the same.

If you receive a call from Search Point UK, i advise that you do not give any of your information to them. Put the phone down on them and block them. They will not stop at nothing to keep harassing you. It does not matter what you say to these people they will never give in.

They do not stop calling even after telling them numerous times we do not want their service. They charge you for something that is FREE. Stay away!

I have no idea how i got involved in this company who ring my business time and time again telling me to keep me high up on google i need to pay the fee of £298.80, Every day I'm having calls asking me to do a card payment over the phone, Anyone else had bad calls from this company.

Scammers, cold callers, private number they use, never take my number off their database. How is this legal? It isn't.

We got sucked into the free trial and agreed to sign up until our bank card was declined 3 times when we went to pay which was odd, we then get a recorded phone message from our bank to say suspected fraudulent activity on our account, this was when we realised we wanted nothing to do with them, they hassled us for 6 months for payment and threatened to add interest but we held fast and refused to pay, we have heard nothing for a while but half expect them to ring soon as our year is nearly up, they are a terrible company and not sure how they can still be in business, Avoid them like the plague and don’t get into conversation with them, they use numerous different phone numbers to ring you from so we just block them, my advice STEER CLEAR, if you do pay them to get rid of them you are in fact agreeing to their terms of business, your only defence against them is not to pay a penny, also please be aware that conversations are recorded including your bank details and your security code on the back of your card which legally they shouldn’t do, they sent us a recording of our payment and anybody could have got hold of our details, we have since cancelled that card, at the end of the day the phone calls may be annoying but paying them will make it much worse, just hang up

Do not speak to this company. A member of staff was tricked into agreeing to take their service on a free trail and we ended up being harassed for payment. The conversation had been recorded and was apparently a valid verbal contract although the member of staff had no authority to bind the business, nor did she understand that she was making a contract. We paid £160 for nothing other than to avoid further hassle.

Will not stop harassing me for money I don’t owe

I have asked them over a dozen times to remove me from their cold-call list. But they call using withheld numbers at least once a fortnight (and have done for the last 6 months).

I have confirmed with Google that the "free" solution they are offering (which is far from free after it automatically rolls over from the trial period) is something my business is not not eligible for , and even if it was, it doesn't work for our business model.

They use withheld numbers for a reason. Avoid !!

Horrendous Harassing company. Ring me on a weekly basis. I’ve asked to be removed from their marketing list dozens of times. LEAVE ME ALONE.
