Simon has a very personable and kind approach. He was more than wiling to answer any questions that I had regarding a valuation of my property and further down the line, a homebuyers survey.

The report provided was sent through to us the very same day, it was detailed yet straightforward to understand with clear actions laid out. Going through this process for the first time, I was extremely grateful for this. Any questions I had following the report were answered by Simon in full.

Simon is exemplary to his profession both through his attitude and quality of work. We used Simon for a level 3 survey as our prospective house was quite old. His survey highlighted a range of issues from small issues that we have put on our to-do list, to larger issues that have saved us several thousands of pounds and were sorted by the vendor before we exchanged. (I wouldnt be 100% convinced that the larger firms would have caught these issues). I would fully reccomend Searchlight surveyors to anyone who is purchasing a property for full transparency of a property.
