I paid a $500 deposit to Zayan Rayyan, who introduced himself as a Senior Writing and Publishing Consultant for Scribble Ghostwriters, to begin editing on a book I had written. They were supposed to guide me through the writing and publishing process, but the service I received was far from professional.

They were supposed to edit my book for me, but Lydia and her team delivered extremely unprofessional work. The editing showed a lack of credibility, care, and accuracy. The mistakes were excessive, and the quality was nowhere near what a professional service should provide. This was very disappointing.

When I pointed out errors, the responsibility was often shifted back onto me instead of being corrected. I ultimately had to edit and correct the mistakes myself just to prepare the book for self-publishing.

I also worked with Ruth, and both Lydia and Ruth repeatedly pressured me to purchase a $1,750 website package that I did not request and clearly declined multiple times. In addition, they kept sending me website logos even after I clearly told them I was not interested.

Despite requesting no further contact, I continued receiving unwanted calls and messages from Drew who kept trying to sell me additional marketing services regarding this company.

Multiple deadlines were missed, including November 9, and based on ongoing delays, it became clear that the December 15 deadline would not be met either.

Recently, when attempting to access the client portal, the page goes blank or displays an “unauthorized to use” message, preventing me from seeing my project or communicating with the team.

I am filing this complaint because the services I paid for were not delivered, the work was unprofessional, and the conduct of several representatives was misleading, high-pressure, and unacceptable. As of today I cannot reach them via email, and this company has supposedly been working with me since September. Darlene was also involved, and she was not the best communicator either, as many of her responses were delayed.

They cleaned up my nonfiction manuscript completely. They improved sentence flow, tightened my writing, and polished it without compromising my message.

I am warning the public to avoid doing business with Skye Adler due to her unethical and fraudulent practices. I am a disabled executive who was relentlessly pursued by her to use her company’s services for a book project. I clearly and repeatedly informed her that I had already invested in another vendor, yet she continued to pressure me until I reluctantly agreed to give her company a chance.

Skye engaged in blatant price gouging by inflating her fee, despite the project involving only developmental and copy editing, not authorship. When I challenged the inflated rate, she reduced the price but then introduced a new restriction—claiming company policy prohibited providing a sample edit before payment. In good faith, I submitted my own terms for inclusion in the contract, accepting the risk under the assumption of fair dealing.

The company has stated that these employees are not associated with them. My attorney has decided to include an email sent by Skye Adler to attest to the legitimacy of this fraudulent company’s business practices. If anyone from the company denies these claims, please feel free to contact me or my attorney, as we have the contract and email correspondence as evidence to substantiate the legitimacy of these statements.

What occurred next was intentionally deceptive. Skye deleted my submitted terms, excluded key conditions protecting my interests, and rewrote the contract to favor her company. The version she provided to client relations misrepresented our discussions and concealed the provisions I outlined. This was not a clerical mistake—it was a deliberate act of manipulation.

Zayn Rayyan, the Head of Client Relations, confirmed that Skye had sent the contract to him. When he shared a screenshot of what she submitted, I saw that she had intentionally removed my written condition requiring a sample edit before the comprehensive edit deadline.

These actions are both unethical and fraudulent. Skye Adler’s deliberate omission of agreed terms and submission of a falsified contract for financial gain demonstrate bad faith and intentional deceit. Such practices violate the fundamental principles of honest business conduct and contractual integrity. No professional operating in good faith should alter contractual terms, mislead clients, or exploit their trust for profit.

My basic manuscript was elevated to a Level of Professionalism that seems to have the potential to make bestseller lists thanks to Scribble's writing & editing polish.
