As a location, we've had a couple of really lovely bookings. But my inbox also has plenty examples of scouts who message, make plans to visit and then ghost me. Yes, it's a location, but I'm also a human who has rearranged my day for you. The least you can do is send a sentence to say plans have changed.
Locations are strongly encouraged by the system to answer enquiries asap. I'd like to see the system do the same to scouts who leave location owners hanging.

From start to finish the Scouty Team were very helpful, we sourced a great location and they were on hand to answer any queries. Would recommend.

I was under the impression this was a simple and easy service to use but I was wrong.

I booked a camera rental and paid for insurance upfront for an important event to then be hit with a reply 12 hours before the pickup time asking for a reference from a production company otherwise I’d have to pay a £3500 deposit. Upon trying my best to find a reference which I did I was then told they could not rent to me. Now I’ve lost the £70 I paid for the insurance and also left without a camera that I needed for an important event.

I advise everybody to look elsewhere as this company has completely wasted my time, money and also left me without the correct equipment I needed for a job.
