The mark of a great business is NOT whether they run into issues and have customers who have a problem - instead it is having a CEO or a President who is WILLING and ABLE to step in and "make it right" - that is EXACTLY what scottevest has in their President. He took a situation that was being (badly) mishandled by a customer service rep and FIXED it. THAT is the mark of a GREAT company - that also happens to have great product!

Just bought a new Travel Vest as the one I bought in 2011 has finally been retired. It lasted over 200k airline miles, three continents, one tropical island and years of abuse aboard a small sailboat with no stains, tears or wear other than the various small holes caused by careless cigar ash and a blown-out zipper (my fault). I now use it under my safety harness while sailing (pockets are a good thing).

Incredibly poor quality! Overpriced. $95 for a vest that wasn’t much better than something you would buy at Kohl’s for $24.99. Took forever to arrive.

Got a revolution jacket. Very nice , but the hip pockets are much too small for my hand to go in and out quickly. The zippers then scrape your hands.
If I put something in the pocket and grab it with a slightly closed fist, I then can't remove my hand. Very strange. I've never had a jacket with such small pocket openings.

I have received an excellent service from Scottevest, specially from Maggie that was very friendly and attentive to me at all times.

Most of the Scottevest clothes allow you to carry all kinds of devices in a way orderly without having to wear a bag where sometimes can be difficult to find things. And they are also of great quality, water and wind resistant.

My husband and I each got a vest for travel to Africa and they are great. I could organize my daily needs on safari in the many pockets and not need to carry anything else. Plus it was just the right amount of windbreak and warmth. When I had zipper problems over a year later, they pleasantly and immediately placed my vest. A great product with superb customer service!

These guys are awesome. I just called in with an issue ordering online, and their customer service is stellar. Jim D. helped me get the discount that the website was having issues with, and he was very professional and friendly. I obviously haven't received my hoodie yet, but if their product quality is on the same level as their customer service, I'm going to love it.

My jacket arrived without the keychain clip in the pocket - when I emailed to ask about that, both the reply time and the actual mailing of the clip was quick, and Sarah sent me two of them just in case I ever needed another. Thank you! :)

I had a great customer service experience with Sarah.
It really makes all the difference to feel that one is interacting with a "real person" and someone who is really prepared to listen to one's questions and specific requirements.
I am a Brit army veteran now trying to raise a bit of money for charity through my art work, and now living in Taiwan. So this is quite an expensive purchase for me and I don't want to order the wrong product.

I chose to purchase a SCOTTeVEST for an upcoming trip; my back and I are over it! I suspect I may end up living in this and am probably on my way to finally practical, well conceived line.

When I called to make an inquiry, I had the good fortune to speak with Maggie. She was simply great. Interaction with what is not always Customer Service is not what transpired. Extremely clear and articulate communication did.

I discovered this business takes care of its employees and their pets. Take your pooch to work and on occasion send a woman on the other end of your adorable and one that is breed common to us, a great photo of Spencer and Penny. It gets better. They even have onsite Chiropractic for those who need it or want it for being in even the best of seats. I get it. This could never happen in my profession or where it was practiced. It is just a bit more uplifting to know that PEOPLE are valued within the company in a very fierce market where that could easily be humane. Human beings designing for people also treat them well as consumers and there is value across the spectrum of an online purchase experience that is a win-win in this interface. Thanks! Truly a kind experience.
