I have been scammed again! I went on to the Sarah Cambridge website and ordered what I thought were lovely hand crafted bags. Was I ever wrong. What arrived was nylon tote bags with printed pictures on the front. Cheap as chips, and it shows. Please be warned. Do not buy Sarah Cambridge bags.

This is a disgusting scam. The advertised bag was "handcrafted, quilted and a raised textured dog" it came as a plain flat printed tote bag. At £34.99 very overpriced. Took weeks to come from America and any returns are to back to Asia at my expense. Never use this company again. Least they could do is send a refund.

Complete con , avoid at all cost . Cheap plastic rubbish nothing like described.

Bag sent from Asia not UK as stated on site n took forever to arrive. Not as advertised and picture is very misleading. Bag NOT embroidered just a print on rough material. You would be better buying a bag for life at the supermarket.

Sarah Cambridge's The "Dragon with Antique Books" tote bag turned out to be a printed front & back panel machined together. There was no padding and no gusset to the bag - just flat. The material was quite stiff & internal lining had a cheap feel. Did not conform to either picture or description. Offered 10% off when I complained or send back at my own expense to China!

I too got stung by this Chinese scammer rip off site. Chalk it of to experience. Annoying though.

Sadly I am the latest gullible person to be duped by the vision of these lovely looking bags . They are NOT how they appear on the photograph, of a beautiful padded cloth bag with hand stitched sewing . They are a cheap and nasty plastic printed picture of the beautiful padded cloth bag !!!
I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am with them. I ordered four for presents and I have been duped at a cost of £97

As soon as I saw this advert for end of business and closing sale red flags came up as it is the same picture of the woman making the bag as was on the other site which was Adeline boutique. This Chinese scammers rip pictures of the real site and make their own scam site,there are lots of them,on you tube market place and so on. Beware as they are scams and now due to credit cards going from mastercard to visa it is more difficult to get help,visa will tell you you have to contact the seller your self first and also pay to send it back yourself before they will step in whereas mastercard helps from when you report it. SCAM.one star is too good for these scammers but you have to give something otherwise you cannot write a review.

I ordered 2, what were portrayed as lovely handmade quilted bags. What arrived are 2 very cheap nylon type material bags, with a printed picture, not representing the picture ordered. Absolute trash. These were for gifts, I would be embarrassed giving them.
I will now begin the battle of returning with full refund. And I am not paying any return money. I have not received the product ordered.

This is yet another scam different name, Snugnest anither one. Nothing to do with Cambridge or UK. Automated orders..can't cancel. Their policy return, at your cost, to China! Refund if you're lucky!

Chinese scam site cheap and nasty knock off printed onto canvas, and not the lovely handcrafted bag shown in the picture. It would appear there are a number of different named sites selling the same "handcrafted" items. I suspect these too are chinese scam sites.

Disgraceful business. I ordered a handcrafted bag from their website. In the photos, the bag appeared padded/quilted. The bag that arrived was flat, printed and poorly machine crafted. I rejected the bag as not being the same as what was ordered. Then began a protracted exchange as they sought to rely on their Returns Policy that the buyer must pay to return the item to Asia. I refused and repeated, message after message, that their Returns Policy was not relevant. They had not sent the bag I ordered. I wasn’t returning it unless they paid for it to be returned. That bag belonged to them, not me. They offered a 15% discount, then 20%. I repeated the same point. The contract we had was breached by them. I rejected what they had sent. Then, today, 30 July 2026, I received a full refund. It seems their business model is to send an inferior product, then tell the consumer they must return it for a refund and offer a minor refund against the apparent inconvenience of sending the item back. The bag I ordered looked lovely. The bag I received was utter rubbish by comparison. Please do not buy from this business. If you do receive an inferior item, reject it and refuse any offer of settlement other than a full refund. They refunded me.

This is a complete scam. I waited a couple of weeks for a cheap nasty bag. It's cheap rubbish from China with garish colours and doesn't even stand up independently. The padding is very thin. So disappointed and ripped off.

Wish I had read these reviews before placing my order, its a scam, quality okay but not worth the money, thought I was ordering a UK based handmade product - waited a considerable time for a bag made in China! No label inside bag, ordered as a birthday gift for a friend who lives in Italy who loves all things British but this bag certainly isn't. Not worth the agravation of even trying to return with exorbitant postage costs! Save your money DO NOT BUY

Extremely disappointed. Ordered bag from what Ivthought was Sarah Cambridge handcrafted bags. Looked at the tracking label and realised it's coming from China!!! Now checked trustpilot to find other poor reviews

What didn't go wrong???? Web site lured me in with supposedly Handcrafted Bags. Now I know these are ai generated pictures thanks to my granddaughters. The website looked British, it didn't say they were based in Asia. Shipping was delayed massively and the emails seemed automated responses. What came was a huge disappointment, I knew it as soon as I saw the packaging. Thin tacky plastic material, no quilting or hand stitching, just poor stitching and something you'd buy in a market. I am very shocked. They said I can ship it back to Asia but it will take 3-4 weeks for a refund?? No wonder why it's closed down and now other websites are using the same pictures. SCAM!!

Website/excellent very tempting. Showing beautiful design, and describing bags polycotton soft to touch and quilted. I waited patiently, having to email see why late.?
When arrived in cheap plastic mail bag i knew i had been scammed.
The bag was waterproof plastic...yes did have the picture of dogs on......but looked cheap and tacky. I thought this genuine British company. The pictures looked like excellent quality bags..hand quilted. Yes reduced from £114 to £34.99.
Returns u have get in touch and they will give u address to return to ASIA. Within 30 days. You have pay postage.....so u will only get about 3rd of money back.
I wonder how many others have been disappointed... No wonder they have closed down site today. Disgusting.
