They claim to sell “authentic Icelandic wool” sweaters. I received 100% polyester (according to their own labels!) ugly sweaters that do not look like the photos. I think the whole site is made by AI and the company has no connection to Iceland. I should have known it was too good to be true. I’m guessing their money back guarantee will also be a scam.

They need zero stars. This website is a scam. They claimed to be selling Icelandic wool sweaters. All the sweaters I received were cheap 100% polyester. Shameful, evil sellers.

Slechte kwaliteit, verkeerde truien, er is niets IJslands aan te zien.
Geen adres afzender, website bestaat niet meer.

If the company really is a third generation family business, why do they have to use obviously AI photos?

Liefst nul sterren! Want polyester fluttrui gekregen, made in China. Motief verkeerd, stof verkeerd, model verkeerd. Alles klopt niet. Site van Saele&Co klonk ook te mooi om waar te zijn. Twee truien besteld, voor €80, dat kán ook niet voor hangebreide Ijslandse truien, dat had ik moeten zien.... :(
Eens kijken of er nog iets te doen is, qua aangifte of melding van de site.

I just saw their website and realize they are part of several other people in US closing/retiring for many heart rending reasons. So obvious, similar stories and types of photos with Americans and warm and snuggly . If it isn't jewelry with Lara/Laura Green, it is Salea Company . Several different scams now online and look the same with almost exact stories to pull on your heart strings!!! What a JOKE! Discover finally got the better of them and refunded my money for cheap ugly jewelry foreign mad jewelry. This site is cleanly of the same scam genre. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM>

Saela "Icelandic sweaters" is a scam. This company its advertised as a family business in Iceland selling authentic Icelandic wool sweaters. They lead with a hard-luck story about having to go out of business when the owner's husband died, hence the lower prices. Complete nonsense. The product I received was shipped from China, clearly mass produced from polyester (the inside tag even said "100% polyester), and is poorly designed with too large a neck opening and too short sleeves; completely unusable, not even worth donating to charity. I sent several emails to the company asking for a refund, but was ignored. Will have to get my money back from my credit card company.

Besteld, verkeerde kleur op factuur. Zo gelaten, we dachten: wellicht onze fout. Tweede bestelling wel met correcte kleur, daardoor totaal wel meer uitgegeven. Meerdere bevestigingsmails, geen enkele link daarin die werkt. Eerste dag wel overigens, dus je wordt gefopt. Track en trace links werken niet. Gemaild dat we herroepingsrecht willen gebruiken. Onmiddellijk kregen we bericht met fluttekst. Zelfde middag nog mail van gofoexpress, dat ze komen bezorgen. Nou, als je daarop google-d zie je een hoop klachten. Ik schreef eerst: mogelijk komt er nog echt wat opgestuurd, maar ik verwacht niets ter waarde van de factuur. Anders laat ik alsnog een goede review achter. Intussen 1 dag later...en er staat echt een pakket, met kleding, ongelofelijk maar waar. Netjes ingepakt per stuk. Alleen de beloofde Icelandic wool moet je ruim zien, het is een polyester schaap dit keer. Het schaap ben ik zelf, een dom schaap, die zich te grazen liet nemen. Overigens is de site is al enkele dagen uit de lucht. Mail je naar hun info at hun naam dan werkt dat nog wel, gek he? Wij vermoeden dat geheel met AI in elkaar geknutseld is. Eerder schreef ik dat ik op politiesite geen aangifte kon doen. Dat bleek storing bij digid te zijn. Dus toch wel altijd aangifte doen, al doe je het maar ter voorkoming van dezelfde fout bij andere mensen.

Saela & Co is a scam company. I ordered a sweater from their site via IG. The sweater was advertised as wool. The sweater I received is 100% polyester, and not well-made. Its sizing appears to be from China, and shipping took weeks.

Scam, don’t believe it. False advertising. Garbage product imported from China.

Looks like a scam, feels like a scam. They say they’re closing and still have several vacancies. Delivery times sounds more like from China than from Iceland. I’m not going to buy here.

Absolutely a scam. The sweaters are 100% polyester and cheaply made crap shipped from China. I wish I had paid more attention to the warning flags. The sob story, the “few left in stock” and the AI images of beautiful products. -5 stars for this scam.
