We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. Our friendly team of eye care professionals offer quality eye care, optical products, and exemplary customer service to all of our clients. We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

I was unhappy with the end result of my…
I was unhappy with the end result of my prescription glasses. I bought 2 pairs of varifocals and they both ended up wrong. Woodfall had to redo the whole thing, from the eye tests, checking behind the eyes to pinpointing the varied settings. They saw where they went wrong and assured me it wouldn't happen again. I appreciated the fact they immediately took responsibility. They agreed to put things right and would DHL me the glasses in Africa, where I am now. It’s been 2 weeks now and I’ve just received confirmation the glasses are on the way to me….

Fantastic service as always
As always my and my husband’s recent visit to Woodfalls in Sydenham was fantastic. The staff are all so lovely, welcoming and helpful. The optician was so thorough, and gave each of us some really useful advice on things (e.g. potential cholesterol issue) she could identify. I always take a very long time to choose glasses and the staff were patient and very helpful. We recommend Woodfalls to so many people and now wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you.
