Russell and Atwell Arvostelua 

I've bought from Russell and Atwell a few times. Yes the chocolates are expensive, but they make a nice gift for someone special, or as an occasional indulgent treat.
I recently placed an order for my mum for Mother's Day and I used my own address instead of her address for the delivery. I quickly wrote an email to change the address, but in my haste I put the wrong address down. Unfortunately I didn't realise this until Royal Mail returned the parcel and my mum was left with no present on Mother's Day. When I emailed Russell and Atwell to explain what had happened they immediately picked and shipped the same order free of charge to my mum. I could not have asked for better customer service.

Great tasting product and very good customer service. I recently purchased three packs of chocolates and unfortunately there was a packing issue on my order. I sent proof of the discrepancy and although it took a couple of days to respond, they couldn’t have been better at resolving my issue for me. They are a small company, so I understand why it took a couple of days to respond. I have to say, I was very impressed with them. And their chocolates are delicious!

Bought 3 bags including the milk, blonde and caramel. Chocolates were very very nice ! If they weren’t so expensive for how many you get, I’d buy them again. Unfortunately £22 just works out too expensive, especially when you only get 12 in a bag.

Really sorry to report my delivery didn’t arrive as expected. Admittedly delicious, but several chocolates were broken and the filling had coated the bag.

Such as shame as what survived tastes great!

Nice tasting chocolates , I ordered the hazelnut, festive blond and creamy chocolate. Although there premium prices the chocolate are and taste great. Really disappointed with the creamy chocolate they were delivered stuck together and very soft .

My chocolate arrived today and frankly I was underwhelmed. The likes of Lindt Lindor milk chocolate truffles and Hotel Chocolat chocolates in my experience is by far preferable. Please stop all marketing to me...I wont be buying any more.

We were lucky enough to get hold of a Toffee Apple pouch from the micro batch. You get taken on an amazing taste journey, the crack of the outer case is followed by smooth cameral, then apple and finished off with a hint of cinnamon. A toffee apple in one bite, you truly are chocolate wizards !!!

I'm a long-time chocoholic who progressed from Bournville to Belgian back in the 80's and, as such, feel I have sufficient customer experience in this confectionary sector to do a fair assessment.
So, R&A chocolate... They're nice but they're nothing special if you typically buy from chocolatiers rather than 'off the shelf'.
The taste and mouth feel of their chocolate is up to artisanal standard but the range of flavours is limited and they are exclusively ganache centred truffles. Also worth noting, though it may not be important to some, is the visual appearance of their chocolates... it needs some refining. They look like the output from a 'do it yourself' chocolate workshop!
I typically pay an average of £1 per chocolate in a chocolatier so the 15% new customer offer from R&A makes their wares a bargain at 46p each and I'd encourage you to take advantage of it. However, if you want a wider range of 'proper chocolate' treats and more refinement, stick to the artisans.

The chocolates came beautifully packaged (which you’d expect at a premium price) but the flavour just wasn’t there for me. I thought the milk chocolate was sweet but not nearly chocolatey enough and lacked flavour. Interestingly enough they don’t quote on the packaging the percentage of coco solids used but I suspect it’s not very high. Given that one of the creators invented Cadbury dark milk which has a wonderful flavour I was quite surprised that their own milk chocolate was quite tasteless. Won’t be ordering again sadly.

Chocolates are always well packed, free delivery and delivered quickly after ordering. They are quality chocolates and a tasty treat. Too expensive to be bought on a regular basis, but well worth buying for special occasions. Different types and flavours for all tastes, love the nutty and orange ones 😋. Would highly recommend.

Love your chocolates!!! Would love to order the new white chocolate with nuts, but unfortunately it only comes in a bundle with order ones. I have enough in the fridge of the other chocolates. So would it be possible to order the white ones with nuts on their own, please......??

I kept seeing these advertised everywhere and thought I’d give them a try however I’m sad to say these will not be recommended or repurchased. I kept them in the fridge and took them out to eat on the recommended instructions but was dissatisfied to discover I couldn't really taste anything. Thinking it was perhaps how I was eating them I contacted customer services to ask their advice, maybe I was doing something wrong and really wanted to like these. I found the reply was disappointing, the first sentence was ‘we get overwhelmingly good feedback but we equally know they are not for everyone.’ I followed advice to keep them out the fridge longer and to try and suck the chocolate. In some of the balls I could taste the caramel but not all, I could not taste any of the dirty blonde flavour at all. I personally pushed the chocolate onto the roof in my mouth as well as tongue to try and really get the flavours by trying to allow the flavours to develop. The milk chocolate was the best one out the packs, I finally got the creamy taste and texture, but this was the third pack in the trio I purchased. Perhaps it is my personal taste… as suggested by their customer service. If anyone is looking at buying I would follow all the instructions to eating them and hope maybe I was just unlucky.

Superb quality as always, taste to die for. Site appears to have changed and I can't find where to skip a delivery as 2 orders came together

Not the cheapest mind, but perfection doesn't come cheap :)

My chocolates arrived promptly and delivery was free too - always a plus. I ordered the dark selections and they were smooth and delicious, perfectly sized too. Sometimes even ‘decent dark chocolate can be bitter but not these choccies they were perfect.

Love this chocolate and also better for you definitely recommend 150%

These chocolates are fabulous. I love the size - perfect to satisfy a craving or a need, and so good that I don't need more... Until tomorrow ( or maybe later in the day). The ideal chocolate hit for me...
