⭐ 1 Star — Extremely Poor & Harassing Experience

My experience with Rupee On Time has been extremely disappointing. My payment due date was yesterday, yet their recovery team started calling and messaging me continuously . The way they spoke to me was completely unacceptable — shouting, using abusive language and creating unnecessary pressure and harassment.

A due date is a due date; customers should not be treated like this even before the payment becomes overdue. Recovery calls should be professional and respectful, not threatening, abusive or intimidating.

I strongly request the company to investigate the behaviour of its recovery agents. This kind of harassment is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Very bad experience. I would not recommend this app based on the way customers are treated.

I had a very disturbing experience with RupeeOnTime on 10 September 2026.

I initially contacted RupeeOnTime only to enquire about a personal loan. I was offered a loan of ₹50,000. I was informed that there would be approximately ₹5,000 in processing charges and that the total repayment would be around ₹60,000 within only 38 days.

After reviewing the cost and repayment period, I felt the loan was far too expensive for me, so I clearly informed their representative that I did not want to proceed with the loan.

A customer has every right to review a loan offer and reject it before accepting it.

However, after I refused the offer, the behaviour of the RupeeOnTime representative became extremely concerning. Instead of simply accepting my decision, the representative continued pressuring me to take the loan. In my experience, the communication became harassing and threatening in an attempt to make me proceed with a loan that I had already clearly refused.

I want to make it absolutely clear that I did not agree to accept this loan and I did not give consent for any loan to be disbursed merely because I made an enquiry.

No prospective borrower should be pressured, intimidated or threatened simply because they decide that the interest, processing charges or repayment terms are not suitable for them.

My concerns are:

₹50,000 loan offer with approximately ₹5,000 processing charges.
Approximately ₹60,000 total repayment quoted for a tenure of only 38 days.
I clearly refused the loan because I considered the cost too high.
My refusal was not respected.
I experienced repeated pressure after declining the offer.
The representative's communication became harassing and threatening.
I am concerned about being pressured to accept a financial product that I did not want.

I request RupeeOnTime and the financial institution responsible for this loan offer to investigate the representative involved and ensure that there is no loan disbursement, loan account creation or further processing in my name without my clear and explicit consent.

I also request that all unnecessary calls, messages and pressure regarding this loan application stop immediately.

I strongly advise anyone considering a loan through this platform to carefully check the processing fee, total repayment amount, tenure, APR and all other charges before accepting anything. Do not proceed unless you fully understand and agree with the terms.
