Highly recommended
I took part in the Snowdonia 12K event, the first time this distance was organised. And what a fantastic course! Tough but very rewarding, the views from the top were breathtaking.
Very well organised event, very supportive and helpful staff and marshals 😊 And a big shout out to the MC lady!

Hello Chiara, thank you for sharing your experience with us on your 12k run event at Snowdonia, a huge well done to you! I know the trails are no easy feat, so great work! Thank you also for the kind words, I will pass on your thoughts to the team. We look forward to seeing you again soon :)
An incredible event
An incredible event from start to finish! It was well organised, the staff/volunteers were incredibly supportive, and the entire atmosphere was buzzing with positive energy. Navigating that breathtaking, challenging terrain was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to all who made this happen, will definitely be back next year!

Awesome and unique race that's fairly well supported. Definitely not a PB course though as it's very winding. Definitely a bonus getting free entry to the park after. Made full use of that and had a fab day out.

Hello Jack, it sounds like you had a great race day! This event is more of an experience, due to the nature of being at Thorpe Park, but I understand that people like to run a fast time at events too. Well done and we hope to see you at another event soon!
Loved every minute of it
Loved every minute of it. Atmosphere was great. Route clearly laid out.
Marshalls' were clapping everyone on to keep morale up.
Loved it.
Lovely to get to have a day out afterwards as part of the package

Loved my 5k race with RunThrough
I loved my 5k race with RunThrough at Battersea Park. I'll start with the finish line. The last 20 meters or so was full of people cheering and as you cross the finish line you get greeted with really positive staff handing out medals. Then you get free food, yes free food, snack bars and drinks. When you turn up and collect your bib the vibes are great, everyone is so friendly and this continues onto the course. I got chatting to people and its clear there is a really positive atmosphere. As a wheelchair user it's great that there are no barriers to entry and you get a lot of positive comments. Looking forward to my next race. I did find the booking process a little clunky, but thats just a minor niggle.

Poor Communication
I had entries for the Nottingham Running Festival on the 30th August which was cancelled. Other than a text on the morning of the event I have received no further communication regarding a refund or credit. All I get is an automated response to the emails I have sent and upon messaging on social media I was advised to email (from a most likely automated response). There is no contact number and no one seems to care!

Hello Alex, thank you for highlighting the issues you have raised. We unfortunately had to cancel our Nottingham Running Festival at short notice due to an issue at the venue.
In regards to the post-race email communication, I believe this has now been sent and it seems you are in conversation with the team on your refund/credit situation.
We are in a busy period and it can take up to 48 hours to respond to our runners, especially after race cancellations, so we can only apologise for the delayed response.
I hope that your issue is now resolved over the email communication that we are currently having with you, but should you need any further assistance, please do reach out to the email correspondence. All the best.
They are getting worse
Firstly, Run Through used to offer category winners a voucher off a subsequent race. In 2023, this was £20 off. In 2024 it was down to £10, Now there's nothing. No acknowledgement of the significant achievement of being placed first in your age category.
Secondly, this event (Derby Running Festival) was a shambles. The car parking arrangements were woefully inadequate which, combined with associated road closures resulted in gridlock in the whole area, and random parking causing upset in the neighbouring villages.
** Edit after reading Run Through's Response...
I have now received an offer of £10 off a subsequent booking, but only after posting the original review. A friend of mine also came first in her age category and she did not receive any prize until after she chased RunThrough. I check my Spam folder from time to time and am pretty sure no email went there, so it seems pretty clear that RunThrough did not email their age category winners on this occasion, contrary to the claim in their reply.

Thank you for the feedback and we can apologise for the traffic issues on the day. We are working on a solution to address this for next years event, by using a secondary carpark to alleviate the traffic build up on race day.
We still do in fact, email our age category winners, so if you haven't received anything (please do also check your spam folder) then do contact us at info@runthrough.co.uk to collect your code.
We also do different prize quantities dependant on the race entered, so please do keep this in mind when signing up. We hope that you are able to contact us to solve the above issue should you have come first in your age category. I apologise once again should there be any issues with our emails reaching you. We hope that we will see you again soon.
Frome was well organised
Frome was well organised with great friendly marshalls . However, the 5/10k route was a bit boring as it went out of town as the 10k started last there were bearly any supporters along the route on the way in! But back in the park there was a good atmosphere. Thanks to all involved .

GP Oulton Park
An enjoyable experience with helpful and friendly staff and volunteers. The races themselves were well organised, including leading runners out by their predicted finish times.
I believe that podiums should always be performed for all events and all distances. Some events have them, whilst this one does not. At GP Oulton Park the podiums are not being performed.
Whilst I finished 4th on the day, missing out by only three seconds, had I finished 3rd this would have been disappointing. I finished 2nd a year ago and there was no podium performed back then either. I provided this feedback back a year ago, however there are still no podiums at this event. Also another club member finished 3rd female, but disappointingly did not experience the podium. This was disappointing as this was her first top three finish at any race.

Hello Mike, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We believe that it is important to hear all feedback that our runners give to us, so we can better support all of our events in the future.
The reason why we currently don't have podiums performed at this event in particular, is because it is a multi-lapped event. This makes things difficult to navigate on the day and with staffing, we are unable to do this efficiently.
However, all runners who make the podium, do receive an email post-race to congratulate them on their win with a gift too, so they are still acknowledged for all their hard work done on the day.
Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts - we hope to see you again soon :)

Brilliant event and organisation.
Once again you have excelled this week end, Carsington was well organised and fully supportive. Having completed 35 races with you this year I can honestly say that they are the best organised ones I have done. Accepting there are certain teething problems at the new, first time races overall they run smoothly. The volunteers are exceptional and the paid staff are approachable when needed. Keep up this great work and I look forward to the next event, Media City, and reconnecting with all the friends we have made vis yourselves.

Do not receive the paid ITAB medal
Paid for the ITAB for Love Rugby in July, but didn't receive it.
Have checked with their support team, but only get a reply but no further follow up.

Newcastle Quayside 5k
I have run this race several times but the most recent Quayside 5k event was the best yet. It was great having enough portaloos which meant no long queues. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I forgot my baggage ticket but was assured no problem that it would be safe with them. It was!! I absolutely loved the new route. Very well thought out. Looking forward to the next one.

Always enjoy RunThrough Events, they are well organised and Bedford was no different. Easy to get to with ample parking, plus it’s a good event to set a PB as it’s pretty flat and evenly surfaced. Well done to all at RunThrough 👏
